Dr. Gloria Jean White, MD

Some years ago I went to see Dr. White because I was experiencing numbness in my leg and tingling in my hand. After examining me she concluded that the symptoms either indicated MS or guillain-barré syndrome. She immediately sent me to the hospital. I was admitted and began a treatment of fluids that could lessen the damage if it was guillain-barré syndrome. Guillain-Barre syndrome is a rare disorder; it affects 1 or 2 people in every 100,000 people per year. Luckily Dr. White "knows her stuff" and correctly diagnosed my symptoms. Her quick diagnosis allowed me to begin treatment in a timely manner which lessened my long term effects of this disease which can include paralysis and in some cases death.

Dr. White is a caring, concerned & knowledgable doctor. She treats patients as if they were her family members. She is a credit to the medical profession.

Dr. Gloria White is the best doctor at Harrisburg Family Physicians. She listens, very nice and excellent at diagnosing the problem. Very skilled doctor, the best!!!

Dr. White tries to push vaccines and questions you why you don't want to take them. Every time we are there, we feel like we are being interrogated. She makes very smart remarks and it is very sarcastic. Not a nice person at all. Would not recommend. Trying to find another doctor in the Harrisburg area.
