Dr. Gregory W Canute, MD

His assessment of my back problems was you are old and obese. He told me I would have to use the MRI at Brittonfield because I wouldn't fit in the one at Crouse (I did). Terrible bedside manner. His PA wasn't any better.

No bedside manner. Treating me for something he’s not even knowledgeable about. Seemed to enjoy putting me in pain. Wasted months and problem just got worse. Always late for appointment. Never again.

While Dr. Canute is a good doctor so far, his staff is very incompetent! Had to call numerous times for an appointment with no results and when 6 months went by, our family doctor called for several days before finally getting a follow up appointment. I'm not holding my breath for the next appointment "we'll call you in 6 months" I want to rate him 1 star since he must know that his staff is awful by the complaints I've seen but he is a good doctor so I'll give him a 3. It would've been a 5 if he had competent office workers!

Doesn't explain procedure and possible side effects in detail. The patient is not #1 in his list of concerns. I did not feel at all comfortable with him.

May be a good surgeon but is sorely lacking in what makes a specialist excellent.

Needs to learn how to listen and develop a more positive bedside manner.

Horrible NEVER go to this doctor he is wreckless ! My step father is now permanently disabled from his many mistakes with surgery to not consulting a team of doctors to using something dirty during surgery causing meningitis making him have to have another surgery and loose part of his skull. RUN RUN FAR AWAY !

This surgeon was very Arrogant and rude. Did not explain things and everything that could've gone wrong did under his lack of care. Would never recommend him to anyone, I don't know he still practices after all that he has done to people.

This mans operation on my son resulted in a massive stroke on my 26 year old boy. My son has received extensive brain damage, he can't feed himself, move, or talk. Canute then didn't talk to us for almost a week, his response, he was busy

Dr Canute is awsome. I met him when I went to the ER for major back pain. ( I had back surgery 11/2 months earlier by another Doctor.) When my original surgeon couldn't be reached Dr Canute came to see me. He explained what was found in my MRI and took the time to explain to me what needed to be done. He wasn't impatient or anything. I asked him alot of questions and he answered them. He admitted me and scheduled my surgery for the next day. You can't go wrong with Dr. Canute.
