Dr. Jonathan Paul Miller, MD

Dr. Miller was very professional, and great at his job. You can tell he has a lot of experience and is knowledgeable at what he does. My only constructive criticism would be to speak to people in terms they understand, explain the clinical terminology and make sure that patients understand what exactly their diagnoses and treatment (in my case which surgeries.) they have to have. I know that I had a spinal decompression, laminectomy and something something something… I can never recall exactly what, especially when asked on forms by other doctors asking what all surgeries I’ve had in the past.

Consult was a 3 hour waiting period. Day of surgery I was told to be at the hospital at 7am. I was third on the list. I was moved to sixth on the list without any notification. I sat in a wheel chair for over 9 hours. I was taken to surgery at 3:30pm.

Betty Grotte is part of phase two stem cell research study. Her experience at UH was excellent. We were impressed with Dr. Miller and the entire staff. Thank you for taking good care of my sister-in-law. Special thanks to Valerie who had everything "under control" and well organized.
