Dr. Gregory Lee Henderson SR., MD

I would recommend Dr. Henderson as an excellent professional with experience you can trust. Yes, his office is busy and you may have to wait. There was extensive testing done as a first time patient prior to meeting the doctor. My results were extremely good and vision much improved following the cataract surgery and laser to correct astigmatism process that was truly needed. I found Dr. Henderson to be not only a great doctor but a caring person who went the extra mile to explain his treatment recommendations and answer my questions and make me feel comfortable with the options. He took a lot of notes and evaluated my whole health situation and history of eye treatment and had a wonderful demeanor with patients and staff while I was there. At the surgical center I was well cared for and each step was explained. The visit to the office following surgery was also very thorough. I will go back for any future treatments without any hesitation and highly recommend this gifted doctor… to others. I generally don't write reviews but in this case I feel blessed wanted to share.

The scheduling templates used for this Dr is horrific. They set appointments and hold you hostage in their office for hours on end. While he may be a great Dr his lack of respect and consideration for his patient's time is nothing short of appalling.

Was not a pleasant experience at all though state of the art equipment. Bedside manner and wait times lack of communication cold cold drink and staff not worth the result after surgery. . Would not recommend this cattle herding type of procedure to ANYONE. . The worst.

The first visit I was given extensive testing but got very little rapport, attention, time from a very cold, distant Henderson. The second visit I waited for an hour; I told the staff patients arriving after me were seen; I left after waiting another half hour. I won't return here. The equipment is great, the doctor and his staff are not.

Lies and rescheduling for my 2 months of trying to be seen as a new patient. First the staff tried to tell me they didn't accept my insurance, come to discover the insurance company was going bankrupt so they wanted to get paid. I can understand this, but no need to lie to me. Also, Dr. Henderson was apparently too busy to see me so I was rescheduled 3 times the last being hours before my last rescheduled appointment. Got the times confused and arrived 30 minutes late. Would not be seen and was then told 2 months to see him. Total lack of consideration and professionalism. I would recommend looking elsewhere, this firm is too big to be compassionate. When I got home from this experience I called to voice my concerns to the office manager and was told she was unavailable to leave a message. So here is my message. Maybe the office manager will read this.

As a 65 year old male, I was having trouble seeing at night driving and wanted to improve my vision so I could return to competition pistol shooting. Dr. Henderson and staff conducted several extensive exams to determine my needs and then did surgery and it was a breeze. No pain..Rapid recovery and I am totally on "target" and hope to win some matches at Camp Perry this summer in Ohio at the NRA National Pistol Championship Match.Thanks to Dr. Henderson & Staff.
