I just went in to see about a bump on my eyelid. Dr Messenger removed it within 5 mins! I was thrilled! Excellent service. I was worried about some of the reviews regarding wait time. I was in and out within a half hour. I am so happy! Thank you

I went to Dr. Messenger to have a cyst removed from my back. He was rough, didn't completely numb the area so it was quite painful and stitched me like I was on the battlefield with no care for how I would scar. I received no written instructions for wound care and felt he was very dismissive. In addition, he was creepy and inappropriate. He commented on my beautiful hair and caressed it for longer than necessary as he moved it to the side to perform the procedure. I will not return to his office to get my stitches out and will see my primary care doctor for my follow up. As for the people giving positive reviews questioning the negative reviews, he obviously treats his patients very differently. My review is very fair and accurate.

My waiting period of an hour was interrupted repeatedly by conversations between “the front window” and patients. I could hear discussions about medical information, unpaid bills, appearing without an insurance card so the appointment would be a cash transaction. I was unprepared forDr messengers response to me about my basal cell carcinoma; he hadn’t read the biopsy report; curiously asked me if I read it. He didn’t know or care that I had had had breast cancer and a previously treated basal cell incident with my family doctor removing it. His aggressive adminsration of lidocaine, like stabbing rather than a slower gentler, less painful considerate approach as was used during my other experience. In discussing the long wait, I found his response, “what you’ve never had to wait for a doctor before” to be defensive and convincing. I am convinced that I will not return and will find a practice that is professional, private and considerate.

Have seen Greg for many years. Never a negative experience. Granted he is busy and doesn't have a lot of time for chit chat but I have never had a bad experience nor my spouse. Also saw his father many years ago for a problem my son was having. No problems there either.

Em . . . I don't know what all you bad reviewers mean by your ill spoken comments. I have always had a great experience with Dr. G. Messenger. I have always been treated fairly! I have felt like I had gotten the care I should have. But then again, I am not a medical doctor, so I wouldn't know what is proper treatment. Maybe that is the problem with all the bad reviewers. You don't know what you are talking about. I don't know what some of you mean by rude. I have never experienced anything like that from him or the staff in Mt. Pleasant. I truly enjoy Dr. Messenger's quirky bedside manner. In fact, I look forward to when I visit (usually twice a year). Many of you have mentioned he has a good reputation so you chose him. You know, maybe he just does regardless how you seem to think you were mistreated. DS

This "Dr." is a flat out jerk, no other way to describe him. Completely dismissive. I was obviously wasting his time, despite the fact that I waited 1 hr and 20 minutes for him to spend less than one minute with me.

I saw this Dr a couple of times for my skin iseue. All he did both times is go on and on about my weight. He couldnt have cared less about my dermatologic issues. A conceited jerk. Like father like son. Gets it from his dad

Very rude Doctor And Staff, I felt I was wasting Dr. Messenger's time. He is the most rude Doctor I have ever seen.

The staff was very rude.I was talking to the manager and she was so rude she called me names and I was shocked this was the manager. If you can't handle working with the public esp. In a health care setting she is in the wrong line of work. I went back two times and each time I had a horrible experience with the manager..No doctor is worth being treated poorly by staff..
