Dr. Gregory Scott Smith, MD

I originally attended this location with a nurse practitioner who was FABULOUS! She wasn't avaiIable for my follow up and the next available appointment was Dr. Smith. The first appointment was fine. While checking out at the end of that appointment, I saw another lady storm out of the office complaining about Dr. Smith and she was very IRATE! At my second appointment with Dr. Smith, he was TOO RELAXED, COMFORTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! He made sexual comments and rubbed up on me INAPPROPRIATELY!! Because I could not switch insurance at the time and I needed my medication, I made another appointment. This time again with the nurse practitioner. I called the day before my appointment to confirm I would see the nurse practitioner and not Dr. Smith. They confirmed the nurse practitioner. When I got there, they said I was seeing Dr. Smith and the nurse practitioner was not available. I told them "NO!" and that I had confirmation prior to. I saw Dr. Smith standing around the corner… from the front desk as I stormed out truly hurt and disgusted! Less than 10 minutes before I got home, I received a call from the office. I didn't answer. When I checked the voicemail, it was a personal message from Dr. Smith himself! I never responded or went back to that location. I had 1 refill left on my prescription. I went to pick it up that week and the pharmacist said Dr. Smith CANCELLED IT! I was truly hurt! Not only does he have NO REMORSE for his actions, he did not care about my health over his sexual desires! I would give ZERO stars if accepted!

Dr. Smiths Visits included Serioud infractions of sexual harrassment of mr being his former patient. Inquiring of ME in a recent family member asking about me! Violation of privste Hippa Law _ Code of Sexual mis- conduct! Mr. Smith thid needs ro be afdressrd.. Period!!

Wait time is not great. Doctor was professional but unfriendly and not helpful. 1st time seeing him for complete physical was not pleasant. He didn't listen and dismissed my problems right away his excuse for my problems was me being obese. No call back with lab results after calling office several times and ended up going to pick up results. I was told we must have filed them back in chart by mistake. 2nd time seeing him for upper respiratory issues. Again he was unfriendly and disconnected. He said it was just nasal congestion and to take Tylenol cold and sinus. Two days later I eneded up in ER with pneumonia.

I'm not surprised after 5 minutes on Google I found to disciplinary actions against his medical license Q & under 10 years for being mean to females that sounds right by my visits. You'll wait for times longer than he actually sees you and once he does he's highly dismissive an extremely unhelpful I would do better to go see a first year medical student

Highly dismissive. Had to go to er 2 separate times right after seeing him. Find own specialist. Probably gets big money to push addictive antidepressants on non depressed. Treats me like psychosomatic but I know my body dude. Help or tell me to go....

Very unprofessional so called doctor. I would call him a jerk if I was rude, but am not.

My husband went to Dr. Smith. I should have checked procedure prices before having a routine colonoscopy. (Next door) Athens Endoscopy will charge you as if you were going to have procedure done at the hopsital!! $7700 for routine colonoscopy with biopsy. RIPPING PEOPLE AND INSURANCE COMPANIES OFF!!!

Dr. Smith is very insightful and able to translate his knowledge to the patient in an understanding manner. He is cognizant of the whole person and centers his care around this. Most of all he takes time to talk to his clients, listens to their concerns and answers their quetions! Thanks for the humanistic care you give!
