I am so pleased to write this review of Dr. Massry. I was a special need because I have a receded hairline and wanted a brow lift, eye lift and eye bag removal. Dr. Massry was honest and told me that the brow lift (in my case) would result in small scars on my forehead. I was hesitant, but I went ahead with the surgery because frankly I would rather have scars than a droopy brow. What a great decision! I was thrilled from Day One! I healed very quickly and I look 15 years younger! My friends were amazed! I have no bags under my eyes, my eyes are open and bright, my forehead no longer droops and my eye lids no longer have that excess skin. I AM SO GRATEFUL for this doctor's incredible work. I tell you, I have been singing his praises to all my friends and family. He really is a talented doctor. I am 67 years old and feel like I have new confidence. I never felt tired, and now I no longer look tired. I recommend Dr. Massry to anyone looking to have a natural looking result. … Although I was open about my surgery and send pics to my friends throughout the healing process, my other friends can't even tell I had surgery. It's obvious he and the front desk take pride in patient care. He is always pleasant and I am greeted with a smile. I rank Dr. Massry at the very top tier of physicians in the country. He is EXPERT in his field, an experienced surgical wizard, intelligent in his approach to helping you improve your life overall, flexible in meeting your treatment goals, inherently kind, and respectful to boot. All of this is nearly unheard of, and to find it all in one single surgeon is beyond incredible. I had the best possible surgical experience thanks for Dr. Massry and his wonderful, helpful office staff. And, I had the best outcomes I didn’t even dream were possible! Besides being a patient in this case, I am coincidentally also a Registered Nurse with a 30-year career focused on improving healthcare experiences and outcomes and helping people make optimal healthcare choices. I have studied good and bad healthcare providers (and have been to plenty of both myself). Dr. Massry is ten notches above superb!! . I had a very large acoustic neuroma removed 18 years ago and had complete left-sided… facial paralysis as a result of severed facial nerve. I had a facial nerve graft at that time which has improved my left-sided movement over the years. I also had an eyelid spring inserted at that time by a different surgeon. Flash forward 18 years and two eyelid surgeries later. My trusted, experienced facial therapist referred me to Dr. Massry when my eyelid spring no longer functioned correctly and I knew I had to do something about it. Dr. Massry designed a custom surgical plan for me and performed a variety of complex procedures all in the one surgery, removing an 18-year-old eyelid spring and associated scar tissue, lifting my dropped cheek muscle, performing a skin graft to correct past surgical mistakes (from a different surgeon years ago), and made several cosmetic changes to bring facial symmetry. Importantly, he did only what was necessary and did not perform a couple of other procedures he had prepared me for, as he flexes his surgical plan once he is operating and has a better view into what each patient truly needs. His focus on optimizing my function rather than solely focusing on appearance is SO SO key and appreciated and yet amazingly, when all is said and done, I now have optimized my eyelid and facial function AND my appearance! Dr. Massry corrected my appearance in ways I truly never even imagined in my wildest dreams, so would never ever have known to ask for such improvements. He fixed the negatives that I had long ago given up and resigned myself to living with the rest of my life. I was concerned about picking a surgeon from out of state, would that work out well or not. It was the VERY best thing I could have done – in hindsight, a no-brainer. It was easy with the help of Dr. Massry’s use of Skype and email, the incredibly helpful support of his nurse, Anna, and the assistance of others within his office staff (I also worked with Monica and Jean). They all worked efficiently and simply removed what I had anticipated would be the stress and hassle factor of out of town travel. There are purchases in life where you compare prices to find the best value, for consumer goods such as a new phone. Surgery on one’s eyes and face doesn’t fit that criteria. The criteria to use in picking an oculoplastic surgeon, given the high stakes involved, is who will bring you the very best results possible. The personal and financial cost of being wrong is simply too great. No question on the best - it’s Dr. Massry. He exceeded all of my expectations - every one of them!!!

I consulted with Dr. Massry regarding my drooping, uneven right eyelid due to retina surgeries. My eye lids are PERFECT! I am so delighted with the results . There is nobody in the USA or anywhere in the world that I would let touch my eyes ever. The results are FABULOUS! Dr. Massry is truly an artist. Dr Massry fixed the position of my eyelids that had been previously damaged from eye surgery in 2004. I tried 2 other surgeons before and none could repair the damage did. But Dr Massry has repaired and moved the position of my eyelids via a skin graft. The results are amazing, I am so happy
