Dr. Harry Joseph Bonnaire, MD

I made a mistake and should have done better research before wasting 8 months with Dr. Harry Bonnaire, Due West Family Healthcare, 607 W Due Ave, Madison, TN 37115, 615-868-2229. I have read all the comments on this page and many other boards. Every board of comments has a common thread of unprofessional conduct from Dr. Harry Bonnaire down through his staff which I experienced myself on every visit and more than said in my comments. I witnessed on every visit someone on his staff loudly speaking about patients private information/ condition where everyone in area could hear. The wait time again horrible every visit 45 minute's to 1 hour 10 minutes just to be called back to a room then having to wait 30 minutes plus to be seen. I was always on time at scheduled visit time written on Dr. Harry Bonnaire business card by staff. Half of my visits Dr. Harry Bonnaire was not even at the office until I was called back. The door to my room would be left wide open so I could greet him when he… came in office and watch him put his white doctor coat on. On one of my visits he was not there at all and I had the unfortunate experience of having his nurse practitioner pretend to play the role of a Doctor. She was gruff and flustered, no communication skills with a very unpleasant attitude. Dr. Harry Bonnaire's bed side manner was none the better. I would ask him questions relating to my health and he would respond with a reoccurring belittling attitude towards me from visit two until close to my last visit his voice was raised to an uncomfortable level when I nicely corrected him on what quantity of medicine he had prescribed to me (during this appointment there happened to be a student practitioner was sitting in the room with us) he barked loud back with authority over and over as if to show off in front of this girl that I was wrong and pretended to look very official staring at his computer. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone this Doctor was flat out lying, I have copy of his prescription, Walgreens has copy documentation, I have the prescription bottle, paperwork etc. I left picked up a close friend that I had informed about my doctor appointments about this angry odd Dr. Harry Bonnaire. We then went to Walgreens to get copies of all my prescription paperwork from Dr. Harry Bonnaire. I decided not to show him the prescription documentation with my friend he so ingloriously demanded was false! On the next visit my friend came with me to witness the insulting behavior Dr. Harry Bonnaire would display. Dr. Harry Bonnaire was not happy I had someone come with me and asked for him to leave room which he did but stood outside door and heard every word of his rude attitude. Dr. Harry Bonnaire is from another country and was extremely hard to understand because he would quickly mumble through the English language with his accent, so I would kindly ask him to repeat himself which seemed to aggravate him all the more. Someone else wrote exactly what I experienced Dr. Harry Bonnaire would minimize by mocking my concerns and my intellectual level even at the expense of lying with his voice roaring. I have never in almost 40 years of going to see different Doctor's office appointments have I ever experienced such a unprofessional, no in-house privacy for a patient, no warmth, no calm understanding of simply answering valued questions, with a belittling rude attitude with no signs of joy being a Doctor at 8 months of appointments. My recommendation is spend some time researching you will find there are many amazing Nashville Doctors that are super qualified, truly care about patients and that uphold specific ethical standards, The Hippocratic Oath !

I've been a patient of harry Bonaire is in the past let me say this if it was not for this man I would not be alive today I had a brain bleed a brain in your is him no one paid attention to me except him give him time he's a great doctor it's also how you treated doctor is how you're going to be treated to treat others as you would want to be treated I would wait all day long to see him I would for any doctor that's good enough to wait for .

He is a very rude doctor would not recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr . Harry for the first time about 30 days ago his demeanor was pleasant and enjoyable...but when I had my first problem I could not get an antiobiotic until I visited ....in 28 years seeing doctors have Never had that experience with my health conditions ...I had a temp of 101.3 and they expect me to get out in the cold and damp after being in the hospital with pneumonia less than 45 days ago just to get an antibiotic when I am 51 and with my symptoms it clearly warriented it....Poor service , Low compassion and soon to be my past doctor when I can get another....

The Madison office is bad right from first impressions. It is run down as are the exam rooms. The dpend time with you to hear your questions... but there is no follow up. Can get scripts right to the pharmacy... can get tests ordered right... cant get referals done in anything close to a timely manor. People are putting their own health at risk by going there.

This office is awful! They keep changing appointmentstimes they are open with no notice!

As much as I'd like to give these pretend to be doctors at the Moore Family Clinic a fair rating - I can't! Very Unprofessional & poorly run. Unfriendly (Downright Rude)staff. Never on time for your appointment, no respect for your time, but very concerned that every minute they spend there is billable to you. 4 people walked out on my last visit because they couldn't wait any longer. Lose info, can't or won't provide copies of your records when asked. Forget about getting a call back returned - you'll probably die first. Prescriptions often incorrect and not called into the pharmacy for days at times. Have been at the pharmacy and had people ranting about how incompetent this practice is. Like some of the staff (very few) but this is a sad excuse for a caring practice. Difficult to find a genuinly good & caring practice these days and this is not one of them.

After reading these reviews on Dr.Bonnaire it explains why his other offices are just as bad. Moore Family Medical is run just the same way as this Dr. runs his office. Long wait times, incompetent office staff and the list could go on. Don't bother calling to get results or leave a message for an issue, it won't be returned in a timely matter. Very disappointed and am in search for a new Dr.

I read numerous reviews online before going to this doctor and with the trouble in finding anyone in Murfreesboro who took my military insurance Tricare, I scheduled an appointment. I showed up at the time of my appointment as I was running late and had new patient forms to fill out. It took about 5-6 minutes to fill out the forms and I was called back to a room within about 25 minutes total. The doctor spent over 30 minutes with me and explained everything thoroughly. I was following up from the emergency room for knee pain and needed a referral to an orthopedic doctor. They explained that my records had not arrived from MTMC yet but would schedule my referral as soon as that information was available. I was given a general steroid shot and anti-inflammatory shot that really helped and I got the call the next day for my referral. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!I'm sure to get boo'd for posting a good comment on this website but I felt it was only right to share my… experience.
