Dr. Heidi Elyse Goldberg, MD

Had a recent visit, waited briefly in lobby, was taken into the exam room within 10 minutes, all went very well, and scheduled procedure 1 month out at my request. She is a very good doctor.

Dr. Goldberg is my Angel here on earth. Yes, you have to wait but it's worth it. She is the most caring Doctor/Person. Had it not been for her I would probably be dead. She found my cancer and started me in the right direction for treatments right away. I'm moving back to Georgia soon but I will return to Florida to still see Dr. Goldberg several times a year for my check-ups. That's how GOOD she is.

Went to Dr. Goldberg for over years and I feel like I waited for years too with office and procedure appointments, along with inputting wrong diagnosis in my chart which was discovered when I switched. Staff extremely rude, I use to think she was the best around until I found another gastro doctor that she could not hold a candle to. Forget about seeing her if you have an emergency she does not want to see you along with her staff was rude instead of being compassionate, I'm done.

Waited 4 hours the first time to see her; no apologies or explanation. Next time, I called to see if they were on schedule. I was told they were; I waited 3 hours that time. I had already invested this much time in pre-colonoscopy appts., so I continued with her for the procedure. She was late to the colonoscopy and didn't even acknowledge me. Also, I had to pay for the whole thing up front and then call a few months later when they hadn't refunded me anything that insurance covered. I don't see anything about this doctor or her staff that is worth putting up with all of the waiting and money-grubbing.

Dr Goldberg is the best ever!

Dr. Goldberg is an excellent, skilled, thorough GI physician. She is very caring as well. I have great trust and confidence in her and I enjoy seeing her.

I have been going to Dr. Goldberg for over 20 years. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She actually cares about her patients and treats them like they are old friends, which some of us are after so many years. Yes, you have to wait long times in her office but she is so worth it. She will spend whatever time she needs with each patient. Some take more time than others. She is thorough, kind but firm when you don't obey her directions. I love that sometimes she seems like she is my Mom even though I am older than her Mom. I would never consider going to any other gastrointerologist!!

I concur with all of the patients here that the excessive wait time and high cost is not worth it. Staff is rude and your privacy is of no concern. Violate HIPA incessantly.

I'VE BEEN A PATIENT OF Dr. GOLDBERG FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THAT SHE GIVES ME THE MOST COMPLETE, THOROUGH MEDICAL TEEAtMENT OF ANY PHYSICIAN I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. APPROXIMATELY 15 YEARS AGO, I MOVED BACK TO SARASOTA, AND EVEN THOUGH IT'S APPROXIMATELY 50 MILES AWAY, MY WIFE AND I STILL DRIVE UP TO BE TREATED BY DR. GOLDBERG. WE'D NEVER CONSIDER CHANGING DOCTORS. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF THE BEST. WE NOT ONLYMMCONSIDER HER OUR DOCTOR, WE ALSO CONSIDER HER A FRIEND.

As always there is a wait but it doesn't matter when you step into the exam room you have her undivided attention and expertise. I totally respect her professional opinion and she makes you feel like she genuinely cares about you! Feel very lucky to have her as my physician!
