Dr. Herve Charlot Boucard, MD

Dr. Boucard was very helpful to me while I was at RWJ Hospital Hamilton in early 2018, where I was being observed for a yet-to-be diagnosed ulcer after a Whipple procedure (performed at UPenn). However, he is difficult to contact; his office staff was quite brusque and impolite in fending off my inquiries for a return call by him. On his office portal, he does not reply, his nurse(s) do. He requires that I come in to pick up (for me, quite frequent) blood test scripts, and will not mail them.

Saw Dr. Boucard last year because I had a hemorrhoid and I was overdue for a colonoscopy. This doctor did dot explain things well, and he was very short and brief in his communication. He completed the colonoscopy procedure and when I had questions afterwards about the results, he did not wish to answer my questions and I had to call the nurse back. Also, he gave me cream for hemorrhoid when I later found out it was not a hemorrhoid. This physician should be reported to the Board of Medical Physicians due to poor communication skills, and an awful bedside manner. I would hate to be a patient who was seeing this physician and was very ill.

Visited doctor for hemorrhoids. Without visual check I was asked to do colonoscopy to find what is issue. An ointment was prescribed. I was expecting to have at least a quick visual check to see how bad it looks from outside. No suggestion on diet.. thinks like blood stool thinner other precautions was given. What a swift appointment

This doctor needs to explain patients condition to family members. He is very hard to reach and when you do talk to him it is like he does not listen. Very poor doctor. I would never recommend his to anyone.
