Dr Beck has saved my life 3 times. 1st time after back surgery I went unresponsive due to allergic reaction to a med given me after surgery. My wife saw him in the hall. His quick response saved me. On a routine visit he didn't like my appearance, got me a cardiologist appointment within 2 hours. I had almost complete blockage of a major heart artery. Again I had a kidney stone blocking drainage. I passed out. An urgent care facility called an ambulance. I had acute Sepsis at age 81. He got a team together and installed a Stent that night and drained the kidney. He and UMC saved my life. I have NEVER seen the behavior related by the negative comments. Never!

I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the practice room. Finally, I complained and came an assistant (not even a physician) to visit me. He told me that being seated on a chair for several hours while working, that is not good for my prostate. That’s it. Altogether was very unprofessional. I paid for a physician and came an assistant. A total waste of money.

I saw Dr. Beck after being referred by my OBGYN for chronic UTI symptoms, incontinence and a ton of other issues. At my appointment I was charged a ridiculous amount of money up front and almost ALL of my concerns were ignored. He misdiagnosed me with a UTI that I knew I didn’t have and refused to listen to any other concerns. I recently went to a specialist in Dallas where more tests were done and i was IMMEDIATELY diagnosed with a much more serious condition. Had Dr. Beck listened to me and looked more into my symptoms, I would not have had to have surgery and treatment to the extent I do now. As someone with an extensive past with urology surgeries and issues, you would think he would have cared more. Avoid if you can!

Dr. Beck is great and takes the steps to get me health. Best doctor I've seen for my kidney issues.

He is arrogant and rude and doesn’t take time to listen-he just thinks he knows it all. If he had listened to my dad’s family history, my dad wouldn’t have had a kidney removed. All he had to do was run a couple of additional tests. He is condescending and rude.

After the loss of the kidney several doctors tried to cure the bloodstream infection. Several different central lines were placed for the long term antibiotics. Nothing worked. The infection was transmitted to the 1 kidney she has left.She has now been Stage 4 kidney failure for several years. She has. Even in bed for all the years since this happened. Her quality of life went from 10 to 3. There have been no trips to see family. Can't attend church anymore. Sleeps most of ever day. This man made a huge mistake that no one with any sense would make. Anyone knows if you blow up a large thing it becomes millions of small things. To top it off the stone which was embedded in the top of the kidney had nothing to do with the pain she was having before the surgery. It was a. Owe life problem. Don't let him operate on your loved one.
