I was seen by Dr. Hubert Cantave did not say a word just kept reading my files. When I asked him a question his reply was I only have 15 mins. to see each patient. I can understand every job has a different kind of pressure. He gave me a prescription, which He knew was not going to be approved by the insurance. Called the insurance and they said that he had to fill a request for approval. When I went back to the office after being back and forward with the pharmacy with the news. He said that it was a waste of time for him to do it because he had to wait on hold for too long to get the approval. 1 Week and a half went by and he did not do anything. Had to call every day for them to get the information that they knew was not approved. He told me to wait and not take the other medication until this other one got approved. so I wasted a full day of work doing what the office should have done and 2 weeks without taking the medicine.

You will wait for a very, very, very long time. I went in with bronchitis - 2 months worth of followups before he recommended a chest xray - and a psychiatrist! I am not a native Floridian and I am appalled at the poor quality healthcare here. I had not been able to sleep for at least 2 weeks the 4th time I saw him, and off and on before that, due to coughing so hard, he wouldn' t even prescribe a cough syrup and then insulted me by recommending it was psychological. Needless to say, I am seeking care elsewhere.
