Dr. Igor Gene Turok, MD

My mother had 4 visits with Dr Turok, after she fell and broke her coccyx and had significant amount of pain in her back and her leg. My mom seen Dr Turok only two times out of 4 visits. 2 other times she was seeing by the assistant and tests were done without any explanation . Finally, when mom saw Dr Turok (last visit #4, he asked my mom: “What do you want from me? “, and when mom asked him to explain the goal for the tests that were performed in her, he said :” Everything is normal” and left. Why did he order 4 appointments? After first visit to Dr Turok, my mom was hospitalized due to pain, where she had MRI performed and was diagnosed with coccyx fracture. When my mom asked him if he wanted to see herMRI results that were performed in the hospital, Dr Turok responded: “ I don’t care, I am not interested”. He left after that. The entire appointment lasted less than a minute. There was no discussion of any treatments, further appointment and the next course of action. It felt like… he is extremely annoyed with patients and very incompetent in what he is doing. We will report this doctor to the State of CT and I hope they will revoke his license. On the other hand, medical assistant working in the same office Natasha was kind and even ashamed of the doctors actions.

I have had many doctors during my lifetime, including no less than half a dozen doctors specifically for my chronic back issues over the last 25 years. If there’s ever a doctor deserving an excellent and outstanding review it’s Dr. Turok. During my initial visits to Dr. Turok 5 years ago, he took the time necessary to get to know me, discuss my history, review what has and hasn’t helped in the past, tested and diagnose my back problem. He developed and implemented a diverse personalized treatment plan for me. Dr. Turok showed me patience, flexibility, and kindness when it became necessary to modify my treatment plan when I could not go through with several of the traditional in-office procedures we tried to do but I couldn’t. This was particularly important to me because it showed me his commitment to continue working with me, together, to take on this awful back problem most impacting my life in a negative way. Dr. Turok’s always given me the time necessary to describe my… condition and ask questions. He’s always answered my questions in laymen’s terms until I understood. Managing my chronic back issue is my normal now, whether it’s in-office physical therapy and vitamin injections, Tens stimulation, medications, etc. Dr. Turok and his staff operate a professional practice. When I call the office, someone answers the phone. My messages are returned in a reasonable time. When arriving for my office visits I’m always greeted with a smile by happy staff. I usually do not wait to be seen, though if there’s a wait, it’s short and reasonable. I was incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Turok. I look forward to being his patient for many many years to come. Thank you Dr. Turok and staff.

People in chronic pain should not be subjected to these unqualified and dangerous extortionists. If you are not in enough pain when you walk in the door, Kiley at the reception desk will be sure to make your day depressing for you. There is one very positive in this office, and that is Dr. Marcel Green, who is the best chiropractor out there, and far too good for this shifty shake down establishment.

Everyone was nice at Connecticut Pain Solutions. From the front desk, his assistant and Dr. Turok. Everybody made me feel I was in safe hands, they treated me with professionalism and care. Dr. Turok, took the time to listen to all my symptoms and prescribed medicine affordable to my circumstances. He was very compassionate and I am so grateful with him and everyone at his office. I just started taking the prescribed medicine and feel a lot better. Dr. Turok, you rock!!!

I was experiencing lower back pain for months and no Dr was finding the problem. Within my first visit, Dr. Turok worked with me on getting imaging done and within days I had the answer I’d been looking for! He is always very personable and provides you with the best solutions for what you are going through however never pushes you to do something if you are not comfortable with it. He has been my savior! Not to mention the office staff is amazing and makes the office feel like your second home. Will never see anyone else again!

Dr Turok spent little time with us on several occasions and seemed annoyed we were there, even though the receptionist told us we should come. He specializes in Boutox? They adore him? He seemed to be running a clinic where if you saw him for one problem you automatically should come for another. All the staff were Russian--family? Seemed like a scam.

Dr Igor Turok and his team are one of the best dr and team that you will ever encounter.they make sure all your needs are met and they go above and beyond with their patients.i would highly recommend ct pain solution with dr.turok to anyone in need of a good dr and team.i am very satisfied with his services

Going to Dr. Turok is almost enjoyable. He is compassionate and always makes me laugh. Not easy for a physician who treats pain management.

I just came home from Dr Turok office I have been seeing him for well over a year and I always come home feeling better overall he does what he can regarding my pain even though his hands are tied regarding what he can prescribe . He always talks to me and explains everything and makes me feel like I matter. What more can u ask for? I meet his new APRN Tyler she seems very kind as well . I've been under his care since 2015. He is caring and compassionate which is a struggle to find in Health Care today! I've had a multitude of ongoing and new issues and he shows the same care and concern for each and every one! Highly Recommend!
