Dr. Irina Klyatis

Doctor is great, been a patient for almost 10 years. New office staff stinks,Very Condecending and patronizing, don't forward messages, leave u on hold lonnnnggg time. I would leave but like doctor too much.

She is probably the best physician I ever met - thorough, insightful, listens to patients and takes their opinion seriously. The best of all - unlike other doctors that "work by the book", she thinks hard even if the case is not quite clear. In my case she correctly diagnosed me. Highly recommend her. Initially her office staff wasn't good, but they improved tremendously now.

I will agree with the first comment listed. EXTREMELY unprofessional staff, especially the receptionist. My entire family has been going to family medical for several years and never in my life have I felt so disrespected while trying to schedule an appointment. I would suggest finding a different physician. I can honestly say that I would leave a negative star if possible. I really hope all reception staff is fired for their lack of understanding and simply being a decent human being, the woman also hung up on me for simply asking a question. Please replace your staff asap. Thanks

I completely agree with the previous post. The doctor came in and checked my vitals as well as entered all this information into the computer barely looking up from the monitor. She was interrupted by a phone call and by a staff member during more than one of my office visits. I am in good health and was asked to come back every 6 months for another physical? In addition, she did not want to renew a prescription for anxiety medication I had been on for 3 years, She didn't even advise on a plan to slowly take me off the medication and just suggested I see a psychiatrist. The last straw was on a subsequent visit she told me to lose 10 lbs in order to conceive because my husband and I had been trying for 6 months. It turns out we had to undergo IVF in order to conceive yet this doctor's suggestion was that I lose 10 lbs??!?!??! As a general doctor, she should have suggested I meet with my gynecologist - someone who is qualified in determining fertility options. There are so… many wonderful doctors currently practicing - avoid Dr. Klyatis at all costs!!

It was easy to make an appointment and the waiting time was fair. However, after the nurse checked my blood pressure and recorded my weight, Drâ??s Klayis came into the room (without introducing herself, I assumed that was her because I saw her picture on this website), she started the interview for 10 minutes with the interruption of 5 phone calls while we were doing the medical/patient questioners; In few minutes she listened to my heart and lungs, checked my stomach on top of my cloth, ordered blood and urine testâ?¦..and that is it!!!!... She spent more time with other patients and nurses while we were in the room than the actual time she spent checking on me. VERY UNPROFESIONAL!! Ahh!!Last recommendation she made: If your pain continue o get worseâ?¦.go to emergency for a catscanâ?¦.! Otherwise make your follow up appointment at the front desk....

I have had doctors who, because they were less interrupted, listened and explained better, but after all, she correctly diagnosed my disease, as well as explaining the related health issues which she is watching for, showed genuine concern about my symptoms and properly referred me to specialists when it seemed necessary. Because she caught my symptoms the first visit and has scheduled blood tests and follow ups for my medication, I really appreciate and trust her. I will keep following up with her and I would certainly recommend her.
