DR. BONHEUR AND HIS STAFF ARE GREAT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT HIM. PRIOR TO MY SURGERY, I USED TO SEE DR. BONHEUR AT GREENWICH HOSPITAL SOMETIMES VISITING HIS PATIENTS APPEARED TO BE VERY HUMBLE AND NICE. I REMEMBER BEING VERY NERVOUS THE DAY OF MY CONSULTATION. HOWEVER, AFTER TALKING TO HIM I LEFT THE OFFICE FEELING GREAT AND HAPPY. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS WITHOUT HESITATION. SINCE MY SURGERY, I HAVE NOTHING BUT POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT HIS STAFF. ELSIE IS THE BEST SURGICAL COORDINATOR I HAVE MET AFTER ME OF COURSE. SHE MADE EVERYTHING EASY FOR ME FROM SCHEDULING TO THE END. THANK YOU DR. BONHEUR FOR SAVING MY LIFE!

Very nice guy who completely botched my surgery. It took two more surgeries to fix when he did. I wasted time going back to him because he was so nice; he had me convinced that my problems after the surgery were unusual until I found out during the following surgeries that he did some unnecessary extra things during my surgery that resulted in problems. Yes he is very nice, but you need to look past that when choosing a surgeon - many never write reviews or bad reviews are removed. I hope this helps one person look in a different direction.

Dr Bonheur is the ideal anyone could expect. Very humble and attentive, Dr. Bonheur knows his stuff and was quick to spot that what I was told was not the case. On top of that he ordered an ultrasound to be done that very same visit in the office. He tended to another patient, then came back to me with accurate findings. I left the office feeling more assured and confident in his judgement. He is truely well deserving of all his accolades. I recommend him highly.

I don't know where to begin. Dr. Bonheur is probably one of the most qualifed and compassionate doctors that I have been to. I was nervous (Even for my first consultation in anticipation of a surgery) but the minute he began explaining things to me, I was immediately at ease. Seeing him in the hospital before my operation, he helped relieve my nervousness. He is one exceptionally kind man and really cares about his patients. He even played music for me while I was nervous lying on the operating table, to help me feel at ease as I was going under. The follow up appointments were great, and he answered all the questions I had. I truly feel like a weight lifted off of my body since the hernia repair. Prior to the surgery, my quality of life had been deteriorating, but now I feel fantastic! I don't even feel the high quality, lightweight mesh that is in my lower abdomen. Major kudos to Dr. Bonheur and his excellent staff at AMI Surgery! Highly recommend to anyone who is in need of the… services he offers - you will have a very positive experience!
