I recently had a horrible bout with pancreatitis and gall bladder stones. Was admitted to Merit/River Oaks. Dr. Chandler was the Surgeon on call. I found him to be pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. I would call on him again if I needed surgery.

. He is caring, listens to you when you talk, and he takes the time to make you understand what you need to know and he answers questions. My surgery went beautifully, and every step I made toward recovery was exactly as he told me it be.

Dr. Chandler's practice is very respectful of the patient. Waiting time is kept to a minimum, and he spent a full 30 minutes with me at my first visit, answering all questions thoroughly and in a way that was easily understood. He definitely knows his business, but his manner is one where he is treating a person, not a condition or disease. Post-surgical visits were also unhurried and patient-centered, with all questions being answered fully.
