Dr. James Robert Eskew, MD

I've been suffering hearing loss for a few years. Before I saw Dr. Eskew, I saw another ENT doctor in Houston before and he told me that hearing aid was the best option and he doesn't recommend surgery. After Dr. Eskew saw my hearing report, he said he is confident that he can restore my hearings to no need for hearing aids. And he did it! Now my hearings are bottom line of a normal person no need for hearing aid! It was totally an miracle. I highly recommend him to anyone needs ENT help and don't give up hope yet!.

King James should be mentioned along with the name Eliot Nes. Why? He's simply "untouchable". Few equal, bone better.

The only reason I gave 4 stars under "Promptness" is b/c Dr. Eskew takes whatever time is necessary to give good, trust-worthy, and accurate care to each of his patients, so while appts might not be on the dot, waiting is worth it! He came highly recommended by 2 other specialists, and he is the perfect combo of caring, gentle doctor and fantastic clinician/diagnostician. My father is a retired ENT in another town, and I am a singer, so I am accustomed to throat & vocal chord exams, and Dr. Eskew has helped me so much; he always patiently & fully listens, as well as explaining thoroughly. I cannot praise this man enough. He is a blessing to all who see him, and I question him every visit to ensure he is not retiring soon b/c I won't be able to handle it!

Worth the wait! Only ENT you should visit in Austin

This is going to be short and simple: another doctor diagnosed my problem as a mere sleeping on my left side which manifested itself as a face and eye that looked like it had been target practice for Thomas "Hitman" Hearns. Dr Eskew looked at me 24 hours after the other doctor and I was eventually operated on--in total--three times (all MAJOR operations)--by Dr Eskew. Dr Eskew is the best there is, the best there was, the best there will ever be.

I don't have any experience with other ENT physicians, but my experience with Dr Eskew tells me that he has very few peers, let alone superiors. Think of Dr Eskew as the SWAT Team or SEAL Team that has to be called in when other methods just won't do. In other words, if he can't help NO ONE can.
