Dr. James Paul Lukavsky SR., MD

I was so impressed at my first visit with Dr. James Lukavsky! After 3 doctors under Cox’s disorganized authority, I finally found one who left Cox (much to my pleasure and for at least one reason I knew, I agreed with also). However, my 2nd visit was for a physical. After chatting with Dr. Lukavsky for (I am only guessing) around 20 minutes, I happened to mention I was there for a physical. He said if you don’t mind, he doesn’t have time today and could we reschedule. I said O.K. and he left the room. A girl finally handed me (what I call a piece of scratch paper) about ¼ or 1/3 of a regular sheet of 8 x 10 paper. On one side was a list of things for diabetics with 2 items highlighted. She told me since I am not diabetic, I only needed to adhere to the 2 highlighted items. ?? On the other side of the same piece of paper was printed in small letters, other information for me. I believe God wants us to be frugal but … seriously, I can’t have my own sheet of paper and it can’t be typed… out? I liked Dr. Luke so I tried to overlook it even though it made me uncomfortable. After digesting my rescheduled appointment for a physical after a couple of days, I decided to call the office and ask for the nurse. I had a question about it and the meds the doctor prescribed for me. Sue, the front office lady who answers the phone asked if she could help me (after I had asked for a nurse). I had seen a review before I ever visited the first time of someone who had a run in with her and they considered her rude. Therefore, even though I didn’t appreciate her asking me instead of just leaving a message for the nurse, I said, “one thing is about the med the doctor prescribed and told her my question about it. She proceeded to give me an answer. I said, O.K. I will wait to hear back from the nurse for the other. A week went by so I called and asked Sue if she knew why I had not heard from the nurse. She said, no. I said, I would like to cancel my appointment then for my physical. She said, O.K. and we hung up. Don’t plan to go back unless it is absolutely necessary. My health and my well-being is important (and besides, I’m what helps pay everyone’s paycheck in that office. I don’t need to be dismissed and don’t need a control-freak-gatekeeper at my doctor’s office. She will probably even be the one who gets the reviews and it won't change anything. This is obviously not the first patient who has had a problem with her.

Thrilled to be a patient with this wholesome group of kind and caring people. They Are knowledgeable about the current issues impairing the ability to receive proper medical care and are diligently finding ways to fill the voids! You ALL are sooo appreciated in this prophetic time of profound deception! I count finding you as much of a blessing as it was to find my Pastor JDFarag.org. Essential supports in times of turmoil!! My free T3 levels were below normal range after testing, and he refused to increase my Armour Thyroid medication; left me on 1/2 grain (which is preposterous). He also refused to refill my ADHD medication (although I have been taking it for over 5 years with no problems). I even had medical records showing all medications I had been taking for bipolar, PTSD, and ADHD in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before I arrived in Branson. I think he cares more about possible lawsuits, instead of keeping his patients healthy and happy.

Dr. Lukavsky seems like a genuinely compassionate and knowledgeable person.

I went to Dr. Luke when I was losing blood and had a horrible prostate issue -- he correctly diagnosed me and got me back to normal. Terrific first-rate doc.

I recommend him with no reservations. I've never experienced a doctor like him before.
