Dr. James Anthony Oliverio, MD

Dr Oliverio is the best in my opinion. Unfortunately, I was late for my appointment due to an accident on the highway, I called to make them aware of course, and Dr Oliverio was kind enough to still take me. He is always courteous and listens to what I have to say. He has performed 3 successful surgeries on me. Hopefully, I will not need any other surgeries but if I do, I would not hesitate to call on Dr Oliverio.

My overall experience at OIP Carlisle had both positive and challenging moments.The Good: The checkout staff were wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and helpful as I left my appointment. Dr. Oliverio is clearly a knowledgeable and skilled physician who knows his field well.Areas for Improvement: It can be quite difficult to get through the phone system when trying to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival, the front desk check-in experience felt a bit cold and lacked a welcoming greeting, which made me feel a bit rushed or like an inconvenience.The Visit: While Dr. Oliverio provided good medical expertise, the appointment felt very rushed. I would have appreciated a little more time to slow down and ask questions about my care without feeling like the doctor needed to immediately move on to the next patient.With a bit more warmth at the front desk and a little extra time for patient questions during the visit, this practice could easily provide a five-star experience!

It’s been a few years since I visited Dr Oliverio. He is still very attentive, professional, and friendly, and he looks the same 12 years later! He has always had my full confidence.

My visits are always perfect , been a patient since 2019 one knee replacement and and a couple other unrelated issues .. no one better !

I have had procedures during the last few years with Dr. Oliverio and it has always been a connection with a pleasant, knowledgeable, effective experience based on his brilliant skills to help those of us who have orthopedic issues. He is the best!

Was easy to make an appointment for a cortisone injection. Spoke about other options if necessary. Very nice and quick appointment.

Had a hip issue, not arthritis, gave me a shot, I'm sure I will be fine. On a separate issue had TKR about three years, he did a great job on my knee. To me he is a great surgeon.

Dr O has helped myself and several of my family members. He is so kind and has made such a difference! I’m not sure he realizes the positive affect he has on his patients and how what he does makes our lives so much better. He is a blessing and I would recommend him to anyone!!
