Life changing mistake

After surgery told wife and I a lot was done to my shoulder and recovery could take 6 months to year MRI didn't show near what he found once inside 5 weeks after dr tells me he didn't do a lot and if I'm not where he thinks I should be in 4 weeks he'll shoot shoulder with cortisone this is a temporary get me out of pain long enough to end Worker's comp benefits it doesn't repair any damage I can't even pick up my grandkids anymore and can't go back to work 100% where I've been employed for 24 years This is not something I want to rush concerning therapy or treatment Even the therapists and surgery assistant told me and wife a lot was done to my shoulder and it'll take a lot of time Therapists told me not to rush it and back off if experience pain Only conclusion I can come to is since it's a Worker's Compensation case it's not profitable and I'm not worth the time it'll take to heal properly and get to the best possible recovery.

After suffering for quite some time with bone on bone knee pain, I was looking to find an outstanding surgeon!! Dr. Salinsky was highly recommended by my primary care physician and a former patient of his. I was not only impressed with his credentials, but also a wonderful bedside manner. He totally put me at ease when considering the surgery! I was up and walking within hours and in less than a month after adhering to his instructions I was amazing many of my friends with a normal gait!! I am looking forward to many activities that were impossible for me before surgery!! I feel like I have my life back again!! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Salinsky if you are in pain, nor would I hesitate to seek his wonderful skills and advice in the future!! Margie F

I have used Dr Salinsky for 7 years. He has done 2 rotator cuff surgeries and a shoulder replacement. Have had great results and going back for the other shoulder to be replaced. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to see him and not a PA, which I personally prefer.

JUST HAD SCOPE SURGERY ON MY LEFT KNEE FOR A TOREN MENESCUS. RIGHT FROM THE START HE CARING, CONSIDERATE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN DETAIL TO ME. A WEEK LATER AFTER SURGERY AND MY POST-OP, I AM NOW BACK TO WORK WITH ONLY A LITTLE STIFFNESS IN THE KNEE WHICH HE DID SAY WOULD TAKE A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO GO AWAY. I AM NOW PAIN FREE AND WILL DEFINATELY SEE HIM AGAIN WITH ANY FURTHER PROBLEMS. HE IS NOW MY ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR FOR LIFE. LOVE HIM!!!

I never saw him after surgery. Followup visit I only saw a PA, had to request to see the Dr. Then he was defensive to my questioning the procedure, was insensitive to my needs. He was impatient about pain management, didnt give many options. I couldnt handle side effects of two meds prescribed. Second followup was another PA who was no help with my pain either. So I've had to suffer pain through all my physical therapy. I feel he doesnt really care about your welfare.

Did not do any type of exam. Must have read my chart decided that after 2 months of seeing other Dr that I should be over it I ended up at Dr Granone who is still helping me to get better. NO compassion felt with Salinsky probably because it jis a worker's comp case

While He is part of a large Orthopedic practice,the wait time in the waiting room was not too long.Once I was I the room,I was sent for an X-Ray then seen by the Dr. He diagnosed my problem right away and treated me with a cortisone shot in the hip.When I went back for my follow up,my hip pain was cured and he treated my second condition with a cortisone shot in my knee. He told me what to expect as far as time intervals for the shot to work.
