Great bedside manner and spent time with me explaining what was wrong with me. I would recommend the Doctor.

I have been saying Dr. Somogyi for over a year for both of my hands, wrist and my left shoulder. He and his team have been absolutely amazing to me. He listens to me and he gives me answers when I have questions and he guides me through to do and however, I feel he always listens and makes me feel better about everything. He’s honest and truthful, which is also a blessing. I don’t think I could ever see another orthopedic for my upper extremities no matter where I lived. He’s amazing.

I was having swelling and pain in my left ring finger, I called the Kyle office and got an appointment the next day. Dr. Somogyi diagnosed it as trigger finger. I received a shot in the palm of my left hand. The next day the swelling started going down and the pain was gone. I’m sure it will keep getting better over the next week. I highly recommend Dr. Somogyi he along with his staff were great.

CHATGBT recommended me to Texas Orthopedic. I had an injury on my shoulder. I was very impressed not only with the office people, but with Dr. Somogyi and the over all experience. I checked in, had x-rays, saw Dr. Somogyi, got a steroid shot, reviewed my x-rays all within 30 minutes. Easy, straight to the point and fast!!! In all my years of being in and out of various orthopedic offices, this one hands down was the most efficient and friendly. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes and already feeling relief. Dr. Somogyi was very clear with his diagnosis and in layman’s terms showed me what was causing my pain. He suggested a cortisone shot and explained that the pain is only a pinch for a few seconds. Then his assistant set up for the shot in the same room, Dr Somogyi came in and very quickly went to work. Just before he administered the shot, he distracted me by mentioning something in my check-in form. It was brilliant and over in seconds. I would highly recommend Dr Somogyi and will definitely go back if needed. Thank you, Dr Somogyi and team!

Seven years ago I met Dr Somogyi, a Hand Surgeon after I broke and displaced my right wrist. I am right handed and was a Data Analyst so typing all day long was a must! Dr Somogyi performed surgery inserting a plate and several screws. I went back to work after a few days and a week-end and had a hour commute each way. Did I hurt for a few weeks? Yes! Normal for this type of injury. After several weeks, despite several people telling me I am going to have pain off and on for the rest of my life, once healed, I never felt pain again. I quickly forgot anything ever happened! A year ago I developed a cyst in my hand. Painful, but a visit with Dr Somogyi and his expert advise of draining the cyst made the pain and lump disappear. A few days ago I went to see Dr Somogyi after trying to self heal whatever was going on with my thumb and causing pain down into my hand for the past month. Pain wasn’t going away and I needed to know the right diagnosis in case another cyst was… growing. Thank goodness my appointment with Dr Somogyi and an x-ray identified the problem. A quick steroid injection will take care of a tendon issue within a few days. Wish I had gone to see him right away and saved me a month of pain. I won’t wait so long if something happens again because I know Dr Somogyi quickly identifies the issue and provides a solution where I can rest assured I won’t have future issues with it again. If you have an issue, give Dr Somogyi at Texas Orthopedic a call and schedule an appointment. He is an amazing Hand Surgeon. Don’t live in pain when the issue can be immediately identified and you will be on the fast track to normalcy!
