Terrible doctor who made me wait over 2 hours to see him. When I finally got into the room, he was an obviously incompetent doctor. When he saw me he tried to convince me to do nutritional testing for eye diseases and didn't even really discuss my main complaint. talked to my primary doctor who told me he is selling bunk!

I had a cataract surgery and Crystal lens put in by doctor Morris at Morris Eye Group,in Encinitas Ca, at my cost of $2600. plus other expenses..The surgery was very painful,I had sharp pain for a whole month and still after 3 and a half month, feels very uncomfortable,like a foreign object in my eye. At my last appointment I was in the office and he said he is finished with me. He is very bad personality, dos not explain things, its all rush, rush. I spend at my last appointment 4 hours all waiting, he avoided taking to me as much as he could. Now I have to look for another doctor to fix the problem. Not only I can't see without glasses, as it was promised, I cant see with this eye, its all blurry and smudge.I am afraid I can loose my independence by not be able to drive. If you need surgery, avoid this doctor. He is a business man first, rather than a doctor.

This office feels like a "mill" with too many people going through the system.I finally decided to go to a different Opthamologist in the area and am glad I did. A very serious problem was found.

I'm blind, well atleast without my glasses or contacts. When I came in to my appointment I expected the norm for me, ugly glasses and contacts that barely get me good enough vision and are never comfortible. Monty changed all that. Monty was recommended to me by a good friend and although I was warned, she was right! Monty not only fit me with the best glasses I had ever had, which I wear often now because of him, but I love my contacts too! He not only knows what he is doing, you can tell he loves it. I hope he never leaves, I feel like I hit the jack pot even though I spent more than usual it was worth every cent!!!! I will follow Monty wherever he goes. My friends have already set up appointments to see him just because I can't stop talking about him being the greatest eye experience I've had in my life...
