Dr. Jeffrey Scott Gitt

Two automated calls, two voicemails, and one more call sought to confirm my appointment—no risk of forgetting it, which made me wonder why the number of reminders within a period of 10 days. I arrived at 9:32 a.m. for a 10:15 appointment, since I had been told to plan ½ hour for filling out papers. I filled out all the papers, inserting some comments and not initialing all the boxes—one page stipulated that the Patient would pay certain treatments and copays—I indicated that I wished no visits or procedures or treatments be made without first confirming with the Insurance. At 10:25, a lady called my name and had me go through the threshold of a closed door in a narrow corridor. She told me the Office could not see me if I didn’t sign everything and not insert anything. I tried to reason with her, in vain. She pointed to the page referenced in this writing, saying that needed to be signed so they could bill the insurance—but that was not what the paragraph said. I tried to reason with… her, in vain. Then, a man behind me spoke loudly, I turned to face the voice, “If you don’t sign this, then go.” said the Doctor, pointing to the door. I left.

You walk in the door and are treated poorly by the rude front desk staff. I had a billing question for his office manager/guard dog who came across as maybe having an 8th grade education, and she was also angry and not the least bit helpful. To top it off, I got to meet the 'doctor' and realistically it was the worst experience I have ever had with any provider. He literally made me stop speaking as if he had a shot clock on the amount of time I could discuss my symptoms. it was like being in The Wizard of Oz where he yells 'silence!" I honestly thought maybe it was a joke and I was on a candid camera show or something, but this was legitimately the way this guy runs his business. PLEASE - do not see this idiot if you are serious about your health and have any form of self-respect.

Upon arriving I was treated with respect, courteous behavior... all of the staff were very helpful and patient . Dr. Gitt was very professional, concerned with my complaints, and addressed all areas of my complaints. Upon leaving I was given my re-review of what, when, where, and how I was to go to have scientific testing done. For example: a CT-Scan, etc. My husband had suggested that I might go see Dr. Gitt as he had been to him several years earlier and reminded me that Dr. Gitt had cared for him. I had never met Dr. Gitt until my appointment. As our daughter had taken her dad to the appointment and she was impressed with the Professionalism of Dr. Jeffery S. Gitt and his staff. Because we all three agree...I do rate the star rating EXCELLANT CONCERNING MY VISIT. They are a team of professional behavior.

Dr Gitt has terrible patient care/listening skills. I have a complicated medical history. He literal walked me up to the front desk and said I cant help you. He is old and tired

After 10 years, Dr Gitt would not take the time to talk to me about concerns I had with my multiple sclerosis. Seven days later I ended up in the hospital with a relapse. Now can't use the left side of my mouth so I lisp, slobber and can't eat properly.

Saw him for years, and I had one EEG. Does not listen to you, very kirt and rude. Bad staff poorly run. Do not see this Dr, his knowledge of epilepsy is very dosturbing. What he says is the only one that matters. Bad bedside manner.

I like that he gets straight to the point and asks if I understand everything

Dr. Gitt was great, he doesn't play games or Waste anybody's time, yours or his. Yes he is blunt. Straight to the point. I saw him for a stroke follow up. He was professional, spoke to me like a person not down to me which a lot of docs do. I'm looking forward to my return visits.

He is the worst doctor ever! I was released from the hospital after having seizures and a stroke and reffered by my p.c.doctor. he came in and was arrogant. He reveiwed the medicine i was on, told me to stop taking one. No test no question nothing .He then proceeded to tell me that i couldn't be his patient and left. He didn't even spend five minutes and do anything yet still billed my insurance. He is the reason people don't like doctors.

I am absolutely impressed by Dr Gitt staff, the office, and most of all Dr Gitt i have suffered with cluster head aches and migrains for over 30 years every day of my life, Dr Gitt had a plan right from the start, with goals in mind throughout the process. and has absolutely given me back a quality of life without head aches daily this is AMAZING the best way to describe what he has done for me This doctor has risen above many that tried , i fell like he is a miracle brought into my life and he never gave up on me I will be for ever gratefull I do consider him the best in his area of expertise I highly recommend him to everyone GRATEFUL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART
