Look no further Dr Jeffrey scott meisles and his PA Christopher Orvino.June 10 2025 I had a knee replacement at Elmhurst hospital.Icannot thankboth Dr.Meisles and PA Christopherfor the excellent surgery and care I received at Elmhurst.upone awaking from surgery I had very little pain.Few hours after surgery I was up and walking.No pain what so ever.Less than 24 hours later i was released.Iwas able to walk up my stairs without help.everyone could not believe it.Therapist's came to begin my therapy.she could not believe the accomplishment in two days.If you should need any orthopedic advise or surgery make sure you make your appointment with Dr Meisles.The care and kindness you will receive from Dr.Meisles and Christopher also his staff member's should be all your looking for.You will have the best medical group at Elmhurst Hospital.A ortho Doctor like none other.Excellent I am very greatful he accepted me as a patient.

Went to see Dr. Meisles for a complete full-thickness tear of the rotator cuff. Dr. came into the room after about a 35 minute wait asked a few questions and told me I was a better candidate for his partner, he also told me my pain was unusual and he couldn't prescribe any pain medicine. He was rushing which gave me the impression he didn't want to be there, we were trying to ask questions and he was one foot out the door. Being an African-American female we are treated this way because they don't-believe we hurt like other women. We have a very hard time getting the proper care that we deserve I'm glad I was sent to see his partner. I would never go see Dr. Meisles again or would I recommend him to anyone who looks like me.

Avulsion fracture of talus - Dr. Meisles saw me in the office for less than 5 minutes and told me 2 weeks for recovery. After three weeks, there was little improvement. I wanted to see Dr. Meisles in the office for a follow up, but was given PT instead. After three weeks of PT and little improvement, I called again to schedule an appointment for a follow up office visit and was told next available appointment a month away. I then called IBJI and they were able to get me in as a new patient within a week. Found out my injury has a 12 week recovery period. IBJI office visit was different than with Dr. Meisles. Dr. Daniel Dean took the time to exam my ankle and review X-Rays and discuss a treatment plan. Dr. Meisles is probably a good doctor - but his office availability is very limited.

Dr. Meisles repaired a torn meniscus in my knee in 2017. My outcome was 100% perfect. Naturally when 4 years later, I experienced the same condition in my other knee, I sought treatment from him. Same thing - perfect outcome, walked 1/2 hour later, minimal pain/swelling, and back to normal by the next week. He's a talented surgeon with a caring demeanor and excellent staff. I give him the highest marks in every aspect of care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meisles since the early 2000's. He is a great listener and has a very patient manner. He has performed a total shoulder replacement and a thumb joint reconstruction on me. These successful surgeries have lessened the amount of pain I experience on a daily basis due to my arthritis. I highly recommend him if you have need of orthopaedic services.

I highly recommend Dr. JEFF Meisles, MD For Joint Replacements, I picked him from my Humana Plan Information book, after few appointments and being tired of diff. Types of injections, I said yes to surgery I had 2 bad knees, I had him do surgery on the right knee first After rehab and PT, the outcome was very good. 2 years later he done the left knee, 3rd day I went home, began PT on the 4th day, 8 visits in home, 8 visits to Outside facility. Much quicker outcome & HEALING the second time. When I'M ask how are your knees, my Reply, I wish the rest of me felt as good. P.S. He Very Confident, has wonderful bed side manner. A friend recommended Dr Meisles and my experience with his care for my ACL reconstruction went as smooth as I could have hoped. Dr Meisles has a confident, calming demeanor, and unlike some others, he actually listens. Speaking with other professionals at the hospital, it is clear he is highly respected. My surgery, although delayed, was successful and uneventful. 2 days later, I walked into a follow up appointment with minimal need for crutches and minimal discomfort. Getting back to 100% took quite a bit of time (around a full year) and rehab, but I am there now. Again, highly recommended

I just had my six month follow up appointment and I couldn’t be happier with my right total hip replacement. Everything about this surgery ( anterior approach) went very smoothly. I was up walking the same afternoon of surgery, post op pain was mild. If you’re looking for an orthopedic surgeon with good bedside manner and excellent surgical expertise Dr. Meisles is your doctor .

Dr. Meisles is an excellent doctor and surgeon, I had two knee replacements this past year (2018) and am very well on my to recovery. I am very happy with his work and I am handing out his card to anyone that mentions any Orthopedic issues. I am very happy with his work.

Dr. Meisles has replaced both of my hips. Both times he got me back to work very quickly. After this surgery I was back to work full duty after just nine weeks. He is very personable and explains everything as we went along. I can’t thank him enough. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
