Dr. Joanna Lee Evans

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Evans to establish care and specifically to get some guidance on losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way. Dr. Evans referred me to a local nutritionist. Upon speaking with said nutritionist I was informed that their program of several weeks would cost me thousands of dollars, require specialized tests and the purchase of supplements directly from them. Skeptical I did my research and found that these tests are not accepted by either the medical or nutrition communities as being accurate or beneficial and have very little, if any, foundation in real science. I also found information questioning the benefits of the supplements being peddled. I'm just trying to get healthy. Dr. Evans would prefer though that I risk my health and waste my hard earned money on some nonsense pseudo science. In my opinion, she can't be and shouldn't be trusted.

Prompt, excellent patient rapport

This is my second visit in two years to Dr. Evans and I was very impressed that she was on time, professional, answered my questions and overall extremely helpful with referrals and general information on how to best deal with the Tucson pollen/allergies. The staff was also friendly and efficient.

Just needed to establish care but had a great experience. Office staff was a little slow checking me in but not a big deal, they were busy. Dr Evans seemed thorough and very personable. Will definitely continue my care with her

First visit. I had been with another doctor with this practice that retired. No eye contact, stared at computer, and never asked even how I was feeling. My yearly exam from her was listening to my chest, looking in my ears and mouth. When I received a survey I was very honest and shared my displeasure. I then received a letter saying I was no longer a patient. When I inquired to practice if that was for just this doctor or all I was told it was Dr. Evans' call and I was no longer a patient of practice. Does not seem right when you're asked you opinion and no one contacts you to discuss you concerns they just let you go as a patient if you voice your concerns.
