Dr. Jodi Berendzen

I moved from out of town so i needed to find a new OBGYN to see quickly when we found out we were pregnant. Dr. Berendzen was available and looked to have a solid reputation so I went with her. Although the nursing staff was GREAT, Dr. Jodi was underwhelming at best. We had a sub-chronic hemorrhage when we saw her which she stated was a pretty good chance we would have a miscarriage so just keep up your day to day life. We were surprised to not go on restriction. A month later when I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, I was scared but the Doctors there reassured us, advised us to go on restriction, were surprised we already we not, and told us to follow up with our Doctor. We did as soon as I was discharged from the hospital and we never received a call back. We had a ultrasound already scheduled 3 days later so we kept it thinking we would hear something then from Dr Jodi as she was there. We asked the staff if they received our message, they said yes. Again, no discussion with… the Dr. No follow up. Nothing. We felt like we didn’t matter. That is not how you are supposed to feel at a Doctors office. The nurse who did our ultrasound was great!! But the Dr was not. If you want someone who actually cares about you I think you should look elsewhere

Dr. Berendzen is very attentive and never makes you feel rushed. She will answer all your questions and give you multiple options for treatment. I feel she works as a team with her patients to do what is good for them and what she thinks is best for them.

She didn't ask me any questions about my pregnancy. She didn't give me any knowledge of what was happening with my pregnancy. She didn't stay in the room with me for more than 2 mins each visit. Don't go to her

She is great!

No consideration given to prior history when prescribing medicine. Phone calls regarding questions not returned.

I have never had a better experience with any doctor. She cares, she remembers her patients, she listens, she makes you feel comfortable, you never feel rushed, & you never feel like "just another patient". I would def. recommend her to anyone!
