Dr. John J Park, MD

Dr. John Park is amazing and he saved my life. For five years I was having severe lower abdominal pain and I had a colonoscopy. He was able to detect the issue. I had bowel resection surgery several months after my colonoscopy. I have a new lease on life and I'm no longer in pain. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and his surgical team is amazing. I can't thank Dr. Park enough.

Dr. Park is an extraordinary doctor. His credentials are extremely impressive and are matched by his sense of decency and compassion for his patients. I consulted with Dr. Park following an emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. My life was literally turned upside down overnight and I yearned to return to a sense of normalcy. It became clear from our first meeting that I had found an outstanding and brilliant colorectal surgeon to guide me through this tumultuous process, and that Dr. Park would settle for nothing less than perfection in his approach to my case. Dr. Park explained the process and details regarding my surgery with great clarity, and he was always very patient in responding to my long list of questions and concerns. Whenever any issues arose between appointments and I left a message with his answering service or left a comment on the patient portal, Dr. Park would respond immediately. That in itself is such a rarity nowadays! He is a leader in the field of… laparoscopic colorectal surgery, and a kind and caring doctor who brings great skill, talent and a sense of humanity to his profession. I will be forever grateful, Dr. Park! Thank you!

Dr. Park is an amazing surgeon. I had a life-threatening condition that required quick surgical intervention, and after meeting with Dr. Park, I had full confidence in him. Due to the urgency of my condition, Dr. Park modified his schedule to move my surgery to an earlier time. During the recovery period, Dr. Park was attentive and compassionate, and he replied to my messages promptly. I could not have asked for a better doctor.

I was referred to Dr Park and glad I decided to give him try. He was very professional and congenial. He listened to my concerns and provided excellent options. He did not pressure me to make a decision or have him do the procedure. . I would recommend. The staff followed up, so maybe they have gotten training is been replaced. In either case, my experience was nothing but positive. He is in demand since he is on staff at a couple of hospitals. Can be tough to get an appointment. Plan ahead if possible.

I had surgery with him, and although he is very busy he took time to answer all my questions, always answered on twisle no matter how stupid my questions were

My husband had a complicated case and we were referred to Dr. Park and couldn't have had a better experience with him. He explained everything so well and told us what could and couldn't be done and gave us all the information we needed to move forward with surgery. If I could give Dr. Park more than 5 stars I would, one of the best doctors we have seen and my husband has seen many in the last couple years in different states. Thank you Dr. Park!

Couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Professional, compassionate, and easy to talk with. I wish all doctors were like him.

I ask tons of questions which he always answers. He answers calls or emails pretty quickly. You will wait for a long time to see him in the waiting room, but you'll also get your time with him. Very well respected in the medical community. I have a difficult case and am high maintenance, but he makes time for me. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to take me through the awful stuff I've been through. He's got a great sense of humor which helps a lot, especially with his line of work...Can't recommend him enough.

He is by far the best dr. i have ever seen. I wish there were more dr.'s like him. He is absoluely amazing.. :)
