Dr. Donavan did my eye surgery, 2 years later I still have raised scars, one eye closes and is 1/2 open most of the time. I look like I could be related to Forest Whitaker!!! he did send me for second opinion and the other doctor agreed it was not a good job but said he couldn't guarantee to be able to fix it. scar tissue scrapes my contacts and ever since my eye stays dry due to it barely shutting. go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!

I went in for a droopy eye (ptosis) Dr. Donavan said I could get my insurance to cover an eye lift. After I failed the first test he had me take it again saying "doesn't pay to be over achiever". After the surgery I looked more like Forest Whitaker!!! After the surgery one eye was drooping and the other lifted to the extent it didn't lay on my eye causing dry eye. The left eye was lifted so much my eyelashes went straight up!! While watching tv the droopy eye would just shut, the other eye open wide and when I shut it I could see because it would not shut all the way!!!! A year later I still have the scars on one eye and a huge lump. Dr. Donavan paid for me to get 2nd opinion which I did. Bottom line no guarantees they can fix this botch job. The second Dr. gave me exercises to do for the last six months helping a bit. Sorry I used him!
