Dr. Jordan Elliot Angell, MD

I dropped off my urine specimen on Wednesday at Chesapeake Urology, the staff member who took my urine was asked; are you sure there is enough specimen collected to run my test and she assured me there was. I found out the next day my sample was QNS (not enough sample) according to LabCorp. I had already started ABX (antibiotics) and now had to drop off another specimen. No results showing as pending on my portal, so I called LabCorp and they said they never received my specimen. I called the on call MD Dr. Angell because I still have symptoms of a UTI. When I started explaining my situation, he cut me off mid sentence and said you can drop off another specimen or I can phone in another ABX. He stated he was going into emergency surgery and he was very busy. I get that trust me I work in health care, but what he could have done is say; I will be happy to call you after I'm done. Taking unnecessary or the wrong ABX is not best medical practice.

Was recommended to Dr. Angell by a friend that is one of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone I know that needs a urologist...extremely thorough and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. I was a patient of another Urology practice in Baltimore, but am glad that I made the change to Chesapeake and Dr. Angell. Thanks!

Dr. Angell has been treating my father and friends in Baltimore for years. He is incredibly patient, thorough, compassionate, empathetic, humble and professional in his professional and personal life. I have never witnessed a doctor in any field demonstrate such attention and care for his patients. He learned from the best and is a third generation physician that no question learned his bedside manner from his father. I would recommend Dr. Angell without hesitation. My only complaint is that I wish Dr. Angell was also my fathers general practitioner, neurologist, podiatrist and cardiologist. Thank you Chesapeake Urology for bringing Dr. Angell onto your team!

Dr. Jordan Angell recently operated on my 82 year old father at Carroll Hospital Center. My Dad and I have never been so completely impressed with a doctor, and unfortunately he has seen quite a few over the past few years. Dr. Angell is professional, sincere, compassionate and is a wonderful communicator. He did an awesome job of diagnosing my Dad's issue and explaining in understandable detail, exactly what he would do to resolve the problem. He did a phenomenal job with a complex and lengthy surgery. We've never had a doctor go out of his way to follow up immediately after the surgery and numerous times afterward, by both visiting my Dad in the hospital and calling me with updates. I can guarantee that if I ever need a urologist or if any of my friends or family members ever need one, Dr. Angell is who I will call and recommend. He was tremendous.

Dr. Angell performed a PVP on me. Results were as promised. Was on medication for 8 years prior to the surgery. Now off of the meds. I am very pleased with the results.

I used Dr angell for my vasectomy. I have to say it was one of the most painful experiences I've had. He continuously squeezed and squeezed trying to manipulate the vas defrens to inject the local into it. He had me jumping off the table and stopped only once to say we would have to terminate the surgery if I couldn't hold still. I sank into my best meditative focus as I could ( no I don't meditate regularly). Once injected however, I felt no pain. I had moderate swelling and bruising that left me bed ridden for a week. Dr angell was nice and explained everything patiently. BUT, having spoke to friend's who recovered in 2 days I have to say I'm more than irritated about the pain I went through in comparison. I have healed well so Dr angell did no harm but he did cause unnecessary pain.

An unbelievebly caring. These types of doctors are not the type you like to see very often but Dr Angell is great. I usually receive follow up calls after any procedures, by the doctor, not just one of his staff.

Never in my life have I met a health professional with such an exceptional bedside manner. Dr. Angell is extremely knowledgable, takes his time explaining things and listens to patients with the utmost care and compassion.
