Knowledgeable, friendly, listened to my descriptions, made me feel like a partner in determining treatment, and diagnosed and treated the issue that brought me to him. I shall return.

My mother fell and all her care was at BIDMC, we got this Ortho surgeon , he lacked bedside manor when I told him my mother was not walking after two weeks post op- she is old that is normal. Come to find out after another few weeks of her suffering in pain, I demanded an xray and she needed another hip surgery. I took her somewhere else. I should have sued him, He is down right negligent and doesn't care for the elderly.

I sustained a pretty bad fall skiing, in which I tore up my knee. The doctor fixed the MCL and ACL, and then saw me through rehabilitation. He is awesome! I’m back in the gym.

This doctor reviewed my medical records and wrote a comprehensive report for an insurance company representing the person who was driving the car that struck me for a possible litigation. I have not met Dr. DeAngelis, but based on his report, I would not seek his care.

Did not believe anything I told him. He refused to review my MRI with me, and told me to try physical therapy, though I was already in PT for +5months.

Dr. D'angelis was professional and down to earth with my husband prior to and during his shoulder surgery. His concern and communication was greatly appreciated.

First, the Orthopeadic office at BIDMC is VERY organized, very professional and very, very nice. IMPRESSIVE. Came to see Dr. DeAngelis after being told by my surgeon in my hometown that I needed shoulder surgery (2 cortisone shots did not help). I have scoliosis and have had so many different diagnosis on my right arm/shoulder for years, and I won't "go under the knive" without a 2nd opinion. Thank goodness I found Dr. DeAngelis. He told me the root of what is causing the impingement. Explained it in a way I could understand which helps you, the patient, to want to do what he ask of you (PT, etc). Most doctors don't understand that when they give a diagnosis please explain it to the patient. If I fully understand what is causing my pain, I know I will do all I can in PT to correct the problem, and wear my brace to assist with the problem. He told me he is conservative which I like and will start out with PT, see how that goes but may need to do other test but only if he… suspects something else. I like he doesn't rush you into other test until he feels it is necessary. Great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr. DeAngelis has been very kind and caring to my elderly mother-- taking the time to explain the issues she was having in a way she could understand, following-up if there were questions or concerns. Surgery went off without a hitch, and all doctors since have commented on how nice her scar looked!

Sports Orthopedic Surgeon who didn't rush me into surgery. With a torn meniscus, he sent me to physical therapy. If unsuccessful, he wants to try two other approaches before surgery. He understands a life style of physical fitness and will do what he can to keep me fit and active.
