After not seeing him for 4 and a half years since he left from Mount Sinai, he is back in the Aventura/Hollywood area. I saw him today, and nothing has changed he is caring, and knows his field. Could not be more grateful.

I have been seeing Dr. G for about a year. I drive over an hour to see him, and it is worth my effort. He is helpful, educates and is not in a rush. He found a rare disease just during a visit for my Diabetes. It was found so early that I am cured now. THANK YOU Dr. Gutman.

I have Diabetes. I had been jumping from Dr to Dr for the past 10 years, until I found this man, Dr. Gutman. He is knowledgeable, kind, and does give me time. He explains, and wants me to participate in decisions such as changes of medications, or selecting other specialists. He is a true partner in my healthcare. His office is at time too busy, and when I am with him, he is all mine, no rush. I have my disease under control. Thank you Joe!

Dr. Gutman lefft Mount Sinai a few months ago... I have not been able to replace him.... I was having difficulties with my insulin pump, but I had his cell number (yes he gives to all his patients) and I decided to call for help. He spent about 30 minutes with me, sptep by step adjusting my pump to my new work schedule... he did not charge me anything. I am better now... So when Is sinai going to bring him back?

It took me a bit more than a month to get an appointment.He spent all the needed time with me, heard me, and although initially skeptic about his approach to my Diabetes, it has work just fine and I am better and feel better.Worth the wait...
