Dr. Joshua Paul Oppenheim, MD

Dr. O is a great guy. Hearing difficulties for a long time. 2 appointments later, I can hear!

I have been a patient of Dr. Oppenheim's since 2002. In fact, he removed my, then almost three year old daughter's tonsils a year or so before. He was always an extremely competent professional. He had an off-putting personality. Having need of many surgeries in attempts to relieve my obstructive sleep apnea I required multiple encounters with Dr. Oppenheim during the next six plus years of attempted solutions to my problem. These surgeries included, tongue advancemet, Tonsilectomy, lingual tonsil reduction, and tracheostomy. over the years he became quite a bit more congeneal and "human" as time passed. Dr. Oppenheim has become a trusted ally in the team of doctors required to remain stable andnot allow my body to completely fail. I proudly and confidently remain his patient today. I have the utmost confidence in his professional capability and intend to remain his patient until. I would ,without hesitation recommend him to anybody who meeds his services. My advice is to not… allow that direct personality be misunderstood as cold and unconcerned. He is, in my book, one of Northern Virginia's Top Doctors and

This was my second appointment where I experienced a rude, unfriendly and unprofessional front counter staff person who demanded that I pay my co-payment before I saw the doctor. I requested to see this phantom policy in writing from the office manager, but I was continuously informed that was the policy. This office manager tried to tell me that all doctors require a co-payment before service is rendered which is a total lie. I paid the co-payment reluctantly anyway, but before I left the office I recommended to the same front counter staff person that they should erect a sign about requiring a co-payment prior to seeing a doctor. My last recommendation...fire your admin staff!

I brought my mother here after a week long of issues with her ear and vomiting, as well as, spending the day in the ER room. You would think this doctor would take extra care of my mother after hearing all of this. But no, instead his staff made my mother waited over an hour to see him and to make matters worse there are signs all over over the office. If you staff do not want to talk to people then don't hire them. you are in the hospitatlity business and should hire hospitatlity business. The sad bad about this doctor is he is rated one of the top doctors in the Washingtonian Magazine. i would rather pay money to an office that have personable folks and less wait time.

Dr. OPenheim is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable and very competent, but too busy.
