this office staff sucks they need to work in a trash dump, cause they are all a piece of shit

I am very pleased with Dr. Patel and his staff. I have all my endo work done here. He's thourough and I always get a call back when I call their office for any information. His staff and N.P. Melody Conti are just great. Thank you all for taking care of me.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I took my 85-year-old mother to Dr. Patel's Princeton, WV office for a GI consult. We waited for over 90 minutes prior to my mother being called back to be seen. During the wait, we were called up to the registration desk to be told they needed to reschedule the appointment due to not having a complete list of my mother's medications - which we later found out was sent in by my mother's Primary Care Physician with the referral request. We refused to reschedule. When my mother was finally called back to be seen by the PA, the office staff refused to allow me (her daughter/medical power of attorney) to go back with my mother. I tried to explain that my mother was 85 years old and that I needed to be there during the visit to help answer questions about her medical history, ask questions that my mother might forget to ask, and assist with her medical care. Both the office manager and PA refused saying it was against office policy. When I asked the staff… to escalate my concerns to Dr. Patel, both the office manager and the PA refused saying “No, we will not”. We left the office (per my mother’s request) without my mother being seen due to the staff not allowing me (her daughter/medical power of attorney) to be in the appointment with her. After we left, I called Dr. Patel’s office (per my mother’s request) to confirm my mother would not be charged for the visit and was hung up on by the Medical Assistant. I am in the medical field and am appalled by the way Dr. Patel’s PA and staff treats their patients. This office clearly does not have the patient’s best interest at heart. Very disappointing that Dr. Patel allows his staff to be so unprofessional.

Stay away from here! After waiting for over an hour I was not only told that my nine year old daughter couldn't go back with me but I was encouraged to leave her in the waiting room by herself with other people I don't know! After my little boy passed away 3 months ago so I was in years trying to explain why I didn't want to leave her by herself and the staff and nurses just stared at me and one even laughed. Then I hear two of them talking about me when they thought I left! Absolutely ridiculous to be treated that way. I sat in my car and cried because of them. How can you let your staff treat people this way?

Rude staff, if you people have a way to go somewhere else better to go somewhere else. This place is not worth it. Receptionist smirk at you when you ask something and tells other employees and laugh at you. Treating you like you are ignorant.

I had an EDG today at Bluefield Regional and was totally pleased with Dr. Patel and the hospital staff. They all were very pleasant. I left feeling as though a weight had been lifted of my shoulders. Thank You Dr. Patel and Bluefield Regional.

If I could give zero stars, I would. No respect for people’s time. Waited for hours!

Had a wonderful experience in this office. Very nice staff and clean office. Highly recommend this office.

you never saw the actual dr unless you were having a procedure you ar seen by the PA Told a time for an appointment and told it was earlier when I arrived and refused me

This office is very busy and I had to wait a while but you have to wait for good doctors. Very pleased with the front staff. Nice and helpful. The NP I seen was very caring and answered all my questions. Met Dr. Patel at the time of my procedure and he made me feel at ease. Highly recommended office. Only negative is waiting but I can get past that. Very clean office as well!
