I would like to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service at this office. On January 6, 2025, I attempted to make an appointment and was placed on hold five times, each for approximately 25 minutes. The phone service was extremely poor and unprofessional. I will no longer be visiting this doctor, as the staff seemed uninterested in assisting with appointment scheduling. They repeatedly placed me on hold without listening to my concerns, and the connection was eventually broken each time. This experience was highly frustrating and disappointing.

I fell down my stairs in my home, dislocated my shoulder and crushed my rotator cuff. I did not have an orthopedic doctor so I saw Dr. Abdollahi because Mission Hospital gave me his name. After he ordered a CAT scan he told me I would need surgery to repair it. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and went to a well known sports doctor. He told me I needed a complete shoulder replacement and that the surgery could never be done arthroscopically as Dr. Abdollahi had told me. When I returned back to discuss this with Dr. Abdollahi, he assured me, yes, he had done this surgery many times successfully arthroscopically and that I did NOT need a shoulder replacement! I believed and trusted him and made the decision to have my surgery preformed by him. Turns out it was the best decision I'd ever make! I remember when I awoke from my 4-hour surgery, he was standing at my bedside with a big smile. He told me everything went well and I was going to have a full recovery. I cannot tell you how… comforting that was a that moment! I have now been in physical therapy for about two months and have regained most of the movement back in my arm. He said it will take a few months so I'm working hard as it gets better every week. I am confident I will make a full recovery. I can't say enough about Dr. Abdollahi; his expertise, his bedside manner, his way of explaining and more! I can't imagine where I'd be right now if I'd gone to that other doctor!

He is a genius. He was called to the ER on a Sun early am in Laguna Beach and responded immediately. Proceeded to take over the treatment with what ever random equipment he could find in the room to manipulate my dislocated wrist with 2 broken bones and ligaments back where they belonged using ultrasound and xrays. Due to his expertise I was able to avoid surgery and am now recovering to almost normal after only 6 wks. I cant recommend him highly enough. Super friendly staff too. Thanks much Dr Karim!!

EASY TO TALK TO. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE> GREAT SURGEON. DID MY HUSBANDS ELBOW SURGERY AFTER A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT. WAS QUICK TO ANSWER OUR CALL AND GET HIM IN TO SEE HIM. SOMETIMES YOU WILL HAVE A WAIT TO SEE HIM IN HIS OFFICE BUT ONCE YOUR IN HE WILL TAKE CARE OF ANY ISSUES YOU HAVE OR REFER YOU TO SOMEONE THAT WOULD NEED TO BE SEEM FOR YOUR PARTICULAR PROBLEM.

He paid attention to my problem and after found out his diagnosis was accurate and pain is gone as he said.

Our experience with the Dr. was a positive one, for sure. You never see this guy without a smile on his face! He is positive, reassuring and very caring. I recommend him to everyone who has shoulder problems. Mine was broken and he fixed it perfectly.

After having a wrist fracture at the beginning of June, I am able to return to my active life style. I continue to lift weights to make my arms stronger. I am able to water ski, bike ride, and play tennis.

A+ 100% Recommended. I will also be back to AOS for a different matter, based on my experiences. Thanks
