Dr. Katherine E Matlock, DO

I have been a patient of Dr Matlock’s for about 8 years. She is a very thorough, kind, and caring doctor. She always follows through with test results and writes referrals when necessary. Her nurse even checks on me when I’m sick. Her office is efficient, and well run. She is a Baycare doctor so billing is done through them. But as a Baycare doctor, she is aware of all tests that my other Baycare doctors order. Makes it so easy for me when they all know what the others are doing. I love Dr Matlock and hope to be with her for a long time.

Was not very happy when I went in to see Dr. Katherine Matlock. Her rating were high and I thought she would be a good choice. It took me 6 months to get in to see her. Which was fine and I thought it was going to be a routine visit. However after being billed it was a consolation. How sad that they have to nickel and dime you. If I would have known I would have made a different choice. The visit not worth $415.00 even if you have insurance! Total RIP off!!!

This is the second year in a row that I have gone to this office for a yearly visit and have been charged an additional office visit. The first time I questioned it I was told that we spoke about insomnia that was not part of the well care visit. This year I was told that it was due to my blood work coming back irregular, which it did last year also, even though this was a well care visit and blood work is part of it. I requested a call back from the doctor, which I never received, and the office at first could not tell me why I was being charged. The Office Manager would not get on the phone to talk to me. I am very disappointed in the care I receive here. When Dr Carlson left they had huge shoes to fill and have not managed to do that. When did being a primary care physician become about the doctor's number of office visits that can billed in one 15 minute session rather than about caring for the patient. Not impressed with the office staff or the doctor who should have had… the decency to return a patient call. This office should post an ala carte menu in the waiting room so patients would know what they can and cannot talk to the doctor about without incurring additional expenses. No one has the right to spend your money but you. Will definitely be finding a new doctor this year.

Totally misdiagnosed me and neglected me. Refused to give referrals for all of my specialist.
