Dr. Kenneth Alan Konsker, MD

Dr. Konsker and his staff are wonderful. The ladies in his office are kind, courteous and helpful. Both Dr. Konsker and his staff go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

He is a good dr from my 2 times seeing him, but dealing with that office staff (besides Betty she is great) is awful. They cancel appointments. It can take a month to get in with a possible yeast infection or something wrong. The office also would not give me more birth control when I delayed my yearly because of covid. It took 3 phone calls from me and 2 from cvs. I don’t think they mean to be difficult or fill in the blank I just don’t think they are all the sharpest. Medical fields should have smarter nicer staff.

I was transferred to Dr. Konsker as my previous doctor had retired. Needless to say, I am so happy that I was transferred to his office. His staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Konsker is an awesome physician and surgeon. He treats you like family and will always recommend the best course of action. I highly recommend him and his office. And another thing, this is the first doctor's office that I felt that they respected my time.

When we think about Doctor Konsker ,There are no words to express our gratitude for all the help and support we got from him through my pregnancy. He was there for us, answering our calls or text at any time or day, even on his personal time and personal phone, which made us feel so good. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that thanks to him we can call ourselves proud parents. I wanted to finish my nine month pregnancy but he insisted to have the baby earlier, because he said that he think the baby doesn’t get enough food and he doesn’t want to take any risk. We trusted him and after I had my baby the doctor showed us there was something in the umbilical cord that didn’t let enough food to get to the baby, and we did right by not waiting . We are so grateful for everything doctor Konsker did and was for us. Office stuff was also very caring, they help me with my insurance, and answer all my calls right away, Paz , the Doctors assistant it’s amazing thank you!. It is so… important to have such a great support and feel that there is someone there for us during that important time in your life, and we were lucky to have that. I went to Dr. Konsker for a wellness check up. It was my first time there, so I made sure I was 15 minutes early. I waited for 40 minutes, which means I was there for 55 minutes before I was even asked to be seen. I went in and the Nurse came in, she was very nice and very brief. Dr. Konsker came in, and I felt like he had a good personality but the exam took a turn for the worse. He literally shoved the instrument inside of me after lubing me up, as the Nurse was talking and talking to me and he was talking and pleasant conversation I guess to make conversation and distract me but VERY FAST AND VERY ROUGH AND DID NOT APOLOGIZE AS I was caught off guard and quickly screamed, but they both were able to successfully side track me again with their pleasant personality. After the scream, his comment was " oh that's because you weren't wet enough." I had to tell him AFTER the fact because it was wayyyyyyy too quick to say anything while he was in and out, too be gentle and next… time let me know when you will be entering, too which he thought it was a joke and continued laughing as he left; conversation hanging in the air by the way. I felt completely violated. I thought it was me, until as the hours passed, for the whole rest of the day I just wanted to sit at my desk ALONE, because I couldn't stop feeling uncomfortable and wanting to cry, literally! I wish I had read these reviews before I went. I tried to convince myself I can tell him to be more gentle next year but the more I sit here and my mind replays the way he SHOVED that instrument inside of me and YANKED it out....... I can't do it to myself again. I am finding another doctor. I honestly don't know what he was thinking??? THIS IS THE INSIDE OF ME!!! His whole check up lasted less than a minute, if you minus the quick questions about my very brief health background!! PLEASE BELIEVE ME, that if you need a GENTLE doctor, he is probably NOT for you. I gave 2 stars, BASED SOLELY ON PERSONALITY: NOT THE EXAM!

Wow, extremely rude, steer clear from Konsker if you want a pleasant and helpful experience. I used to see Dr. Tara Dennis, but since she no longer works at the practice I had to switch Dr. Kenneth Konsker. I made an appointment to talk to him about some concerns I was having that my primary care said to ask him about, he did not care. He belittled me and said that what I was feeling (a legitimate concern I was having enough to schedule an appointment specifically for!) was not of importance and he couldn’t (or wouldn’t) do anything to try to help me. He quickly ended all conversation and told me to see another doctor since he wouldn’t help me with what I needed. I explained that they likely would not take my insurance and it took me forever to find a doctor that would, so if he would just please help me, but he did not care. I am a college age girl and just wanted his help but he was so unsympathetic and rude to me it is unbelievable. Now I am stuck having to drive 45 minutes… to a whole different city to see the doctor he told me to go to because she will help me and pay out of pocket with my own money because, as I figured, they do not take my insurance.

I would go here for a different doctor, but one day Dr. Konsker was called in to help with an ultrasound because I had a cyst rupture. After going through the visuals, he took off his gloves and said ‘alright, let’s get you pregnant by next year.’ And walked out. This commentary is completely uncalled for especially considering he knew nothing regarding my health history or what my goals are. Not only have I had a bad experience with Dr Konsker the one time he ‘helped’ me, but he has a reputation in hospitals for being hard to work with especially in the delivery room. Stay far away from him, he just wants to cut you during the birthing process so he can go home.

I went one time to Dr Konsker and ran screaming. First, he is rude and dismissive. His exam was about one minute long. He laughed at me questions. He insisted I needed an ultrasound even though I was there for my yearly well exam. I heard him tell every other adjacent room that they needed an ultrasound too. I got no results from his stupid crappy little machine ultrasound. BUT...I got billed $150 for the test. I have two good insurance policies but they (the rude insurance girl) refused to bill my secondary policy and REFUSED to give me the paperwork to file myself. She demanded immediate payment but I only brought my copay. She told me " you expect me to believe you don't have a bank card, check or credit cards?" As if I was lying. What a total scam. Also, like others have mentioned...the nurses at Boca hate him. My mom was a nurse and she always said if the hospital nurses do not like an OB/GYN RUN RUN RUN AWAY.

The staff and dr dont care about you at all. The worst experience everrrr! They scam you for money and are extremely rude. Konsker should not be working with woman and his staff especially Merry should be fired for the worst customer service! I say this to help others. Dont walk away from this Dr....RUN!
