Dr. Kha Hoang Phong Ngo, DO

I don't usually write reviews because they are usually either very bad or very good, but I have been seeing Dr. Ngo for several years now. He has been very kind and understanding. He has helped me out of a very difficult medical situation and works very hard to keep me in good health. I don't know what I'd do without him. I find the office can run a little slow, but when I I get to see the doctor I never feel rushed and he does take the time to answer all of my questions. I have recommended several friends and family members go to see him and they are all happy as well. I hope this comment was helpful.

My experience with this doctor was by far the worst I’ve ever had with a medical professional. After explaining my symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, considerable pain) that I had been dealing with for well over a month this doctor asked, in a very dismissive and condescending manner, what I wanted him to do about it. I questioned the way he was treating me and he said we were not “connecting”. He proceeded to tell me my condition was not as bad as I thought it was without even doing any kind of test. In other words he already diagnosed me in his mind. His God Complex did not like that I questioned the way I was being treated. He stood up and escorted me out. I told him it was a waste of my time and he said it was a waste of his too. We go to doctors for their medical advice and for their knowledge and help, often when we aren’t feeling well and when we’re in a vulnerable and compromised condition. This doctor lacks empathy and in my humble opinion, needs a an ego check.… Exceptionally bad experience to say the least.

The doctor kept asking me cross examination like questions and refused to let me get a word in edgewise. Kept asking me what I thought medical terms meant, cutting me off, shaking his head and telling me what it really meant. You made me feel like an idiot and I will never come back to you ever again.

I found him to be kind, helpful and spent plenty of time listening to my problems.

He sucked my insurance and pocket dry. I missed many days of work. I am dying from Hep C and he knows it but refuses to provide treatment. Just dragging it out to get more money from insurance
