Dr. Kristin Leigh Long, MD

I saw Dr. Long for a consultation for my thyroid cancer to have it removed and she made me feel so confident in her and made my anxiety and fear about my diagnosis and the need for surgery go away, she was warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable and she listened which is extremely important to me since I've been through so many drs just to get diagnosed who never listened to me and always made me feel like my worries weren't valid but she is different, she is a great doctor and I'm sure she is a great surgeon, I feel very confident in her abilities and that is why she is doing my surgery in a week!! The other doctor who came in with her was Amazing also, I wish I remembered her name cause she deserves a review also!! If I could give more stars I would for both Doctors!!!

Dr. Long spent over 1/2 hour going over the scheduled parathyroidectomy surgery, what to expect, the risks invoved, and the preparations before the surgery. I felt confident that I was in good hands and that I had adequate medical resources to properly prepare (physically, mentally, and emotionally) for the surgery and post-operative recovery.
