Dr. Kurt Patrick Wohlrab, MD

My husband went to Dr Wohlrab for partial knee replacement. Lots of things were wrong. He did not explain that 50% of partial knee replacements have to be revised to full knee replacement within 5 years. He also failed to diagnose his hip arthritis in his opposite hip and he could hardly walk. Would not recommend this doctor. He fools you by acting like you are his best friend. It is all an act.

I am very disappointed. I am worse then before. It has been over a year and I am cripple can’t walk. Plus one of my leg is totally crook it. This is terrible I stop going to him. Will never see him again. I am not the only one. I know of 3 more people that had to go to other Doctors.

Fr. Wohlrab is a perfect example for how a doctor should act and look. He is very kind and polite and quick but efficient with his work. Not to mention he is a very clean and tidy man which I think is best for a doctor. He helped me with my injury and I thank God for him.

Dr Wohlrab has replaced both of my hips and is now treating my arthritic knees. He is extremely knowledgeable with an excellent bedside manor. I am a retired RN who has worked with numerous orthopedic specialists during my long practice. Never have I seen a physician that impressed me more than Dr. Wohlrab. I would recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic consultation and treatment. I have sent my husband and sister to him and I have outmost confidence in him. He is an excellent physician with a kind, friendly and positive manner when he works with his patients. I wish there were more physicians like him.

I had surgery with Dr Wohlrab and I am worst off now then I was before . . Its been over a year and I am still having complications . My life has become altered since the surgery . I am not physically able to do the things I love and enjoy he has taken that away from me .

Dr. Wohlrab took over for another doctor who had a highly unprofessional staff member to do my surgery. It was a blessing in disguise. He was a godsend from day one. His staff at both locations were great. I never had one problem with him personally. He's educational & courteous, as well as professional and has a caring manner. He later saw my husband for a similar injury and we were very pleased with his humility.

I was referred to Dr. Wohlrab by another ortho doctor because of Dr. Wohlrab's speacialty in shoulder surgery and rehab. Dr. Wohlrab gives you complete confidence in an accurate diagnosis (mine was a torn labrum misdiagnosed as a rotator cuff tear) by showing you on xrays/MRI where the problem is, choices on how to solve the problem for a rapid recovery and any possible after effects (tiny scar, etc.). He's an athlete and father who understands a patient's need to return to normal activity without limitations. His surgical team from check-in thru recovery was awesome! The team introduced themselves by explaining their task and purpose and answered any concerns. Rehab at First Health was easy to understand. Katy pushed me to continue stretching several times a day. My recovery was faster than I had anticipated and my shoulder is stronger a year post surgery than before my injury. I would recommend Dr. Wohlrab to anyone age group due to his positive bedside manner and enthusiasm.… Thanks again for having a professional team!

He is very slow my appointment was at 4:00. I wasn't seen until 6:15. After that long wait he spoke with me was less than a minute. Pinehurst surgical had already closed when I was walking out the door. He's very unorganized. I found another doctor in Chapel Hill and I'm doing much better.

My surgery seemed to be a success until becoming physically active. Pain started to increase.
