Dr. Lawrence Jay Baskind

He didn’t listen to me, dismissed my concerns, and ultimately missed the diagnosis.

We've been using Dr. Baskind for the last 13 years. He has the best bedside manner and we never feel rushed through appointments.

I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon Dr Baskind 21years ago when my eldest was born. He is an exceptional physician -not too quick to medicate but considers holistic options. Has always been available morning, noon and night, 7 days a week. He spends time with my children treating not just their health issues but addresses their over all well being. His sense of humor is not to be beat in taking the edge off a doctors visit. Which is why we we stayed with him after moving an hour away 18 years ago. He's worth the trip and sense of well being. He gives you excellent medical attention and puts you at your ease with his humor. We always said Dr. Baskind is dinner AND a show!

Dr. Baskin is the very best in my opinion. His concern for my children is genuine.

He is the best Dr that we ever met; we only wish that he was a General MD-so the whole family could see him. He listens, he asks questions, he applies overall health and not just the quick drug fix. When our child ended up in the hospital for sugar levels, Dr. Larry called us 3 times over the weekend. Our child is over 21 years old and believes that Dr. Larry is the coolest and very easy to talk with; he is the best. THe staff is always friendly and wonderful!

He has been our physician for 17 years, for all five of our girls. Top marks across the board. Highly recommend and we moved and drive 40 minutes to see him. That's how much we like him.

Riverside Pediatrics has a great, caring staff that never watches the clock when it comes to answering questions and addressing concerns. In fact, many of my well-visits have lasted an hour! The doctors here are not quick to give an antibiotic prescription; Dr. Baskind has studied and lectured on the topic of Western herbal and Chinese medicines. The staff often prescribes alternative therapies that have been effective and safe. I've found Baskind and his staff always well-informed and current on research. Baskind does have a strong personality, but it is tempered by a good sense of humor along with intelligence.

My experience has been great. Answers all my questions. Has no problems with questions of vaccines. Not sure about the other persons experience with questioning a vaccine but I had no issues. His homeopathic knowledge is very good. I like the fact that if we do not have to give our children medicines he'll give homeopathic option!
