Dr. Koya and her staff answered all questions, and concerns in a professional manner. Overall Care is excellent. Her Staff is friendly and courteous. I am very happy with the speedy recovery I experienced after the procedure performed by Dr. Koya.

Dr. Koya takes care of my elderly mother. Dr. Koya takes the time to listen to my mother and has provided excellent care. She is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Her staff is also very friendly - you can't ask for more.

Dr. Koya has been treating my husband with advanced stage liver disease for the past four months. She is a wonderful doctor who goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. It is not uncommon for her to call us in the evenings/weekends to discuss any new concerns. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Koya seems to be narrowing down the reason for my issue, and her explanation makes sense to me. Finally, a doctor who has diagnosed the cause and provided a path for potentially correcting the problem! It's like all the pieces of a puzzle have been put in place. I'm trying her recommendations, and hopefully, the problem will be solved. I like her as a doctor and respect her medical knowledge. Today, she was running about 40 minutes behind; I don't believe that was the case on my two prior visits.

We had to wait an hour and a half past appointment time. The office is dingy and stinks. Koya's bedside manner is cold and rude. And expensive. The doc was unkept with her hair all messy so she didn't present well. I will never return and would NOT recommend it to anyone. They don't even do their bloodwork in office. Found a much better place this operates in the century. Koya had no recommendations and very unhelpful.

Can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Koya and her staff!! Dr. Koya is so compassionate & understanding! She listens & explains herself so that you can understand your diagnosis & long term health plan. She has the best “bed side manner” of any doctor I have even seen! I feel blessed to have her helping me with my Ulcerative Colitis! Her staff is amazing! Always returns calls & is quick to get you in for an appointment when needed. On most occasions, same day appointments. I have never had to wait more than 20 mins to see Dr. Koya once I have checked in. Everyone is ALWAYS so pleasant & each of them seem to enjoy their jobs. I love the “small feel” office setting & that most of the employees Dr. Koya has now have been with her since she opened her private practice. Low staff turnover says a lot about Dr. Koya & how she values not only her patients but her staff as well. If your looking for a Gastrologist in Lewisville, give her a try, you will not be disappointed!

Dr Koya is caring very very smart ,she spends time with you and explains everything ,it is very rare to find a Dr like her.The office staff are very polite no wait time .I travel a considerable distance to see Dr Koya and i highly recommend her

I had a chronic cough for months, and I was on a mission to get much-needed relief. After seeing multiple doctors, Dr. Koya asked the right questions and helped me get to a resolution. Due to her outstanding compassion, care and expertise, my cough is resolved and I'm finally able to sleep well. Dr. Koya is my 'Rockstar' and will now be the only gastroenterologist for me.
