Dr. Lee Scott Bloemendal, MD

Dr. Bloemendal is an Excellent, Surgeon and a wonderful human being. He's very knowledgeable, and also concerned about the welfare of his patients. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis as to what the problem is and what he will be doing to fix the problem. Dr Bloemendal did abdominal surgery on me and he was wonderful, he made sure that i was not in pain and that i was well taken care of while I was a patient at Texas Health Fort Worth, he also came around to visit with me the entire time I was there. I can't say enough good things about him. I would whole heartily recommend him to my family and friends without a doubt.

I went to the ER with a blockage in my intestines and Dr. Bloemendal was assigned to me. Although I did not have to have surgery, he was the most caring, compassionate and understanding doctor I could have ever asked for!!

I went to the ER with an inflamed gallbaldder and was fortunate to have been assigned Dr. Bomendal. If you have time to choose a surgeon I don't believe you could do any better than he. He is skilled, caring, easy to talk with and to understand. He left orders for the nurses so I wasn't without pain meds or the diet I needed. Was concerned about any pain I might have(there was none). I would certainly recognize him on the street, which is more than I can say for the doctors who did my hysterectomy, back & cataract surgery. In all I saw Dr. Bloemendal 5 times. The others a total of 1 time for all three not counting the time I was in surgery and not able to recognize any one. I think it's great Fort Worth has a surgeon like him.
