Dr. Rubin is a rock star of surgeons. He is smart, caring, attentive, thorough, cutting edge, talented, a mentor, someone who cares about the process and patients' experience... shall I go on? Don't miss the opportunity to have him care for you. He replaced my hip (anteriorly) with absolutely no complications, and I will certainly see him again when I need the other one done. He runs his department with full involvement, in a positive, patient-focused way. His team is like family, and they are all responsive and concerned for patient safety and comfort. He is an innovator in surgery, and has created a system/technique giving better visibility during surgery (critical for this type of surgery!) which he teaches others.

Dr. Rubin replaced both of my knees 3 months apart. They had gone 5 years longer than I had been advised to fix them by doctors. They had severe damage and were also severely bowed. Dr. Rubin was confident in fixing everything and eased a lot of my presurgical fears. He came through with flying colors. I think he is a magician. My legs are now straight and perfect. Other than the first day or two there was very little pain. I feel very lucky and I am very grateful to have had such an amazing surgeon!!

Dr. Rubin performed an anterior total hip replacement on me at the outpatient ortho clinic. I am thrilled with the results. The procedure went off without a hitch, recovery progressed perfectly, legs are still the same length! and the incision healed beautifully. I am back to being able to walk and move around without any pain. Would highly recommend Dr. Rubin and wish I had done it sooner!
