Dr. Leigh Scott Brezenoff, MD

Have arthritis in my knees. Diagnosed by X ray. I recently had fluid build up on the outside of my right knee. I tried to deal with it for about 6 weeks but taking otc medication and one prescribed nsaid they did very little. I saw one orthopedic doctor and his diagnosis was yes you have bone on bone arthritis you'll eventually need a replacement knee, not ready for invasive surgery yet. So I made an appointment with Dr. Breznoff. 1 appointment drain knee cortisone shot. Stiffness and discomfort 95% eliminated. One visit. I will kneed to keep this Dr.s number for any future problems. Dr. Brezenoff is very professional I like the way that he explained things to me in a way that I can understand it and I also like that he involves me in the decision of my health, there should be more doctors like him.

Dr Brezenoff is easy to talk to and efficient. He truly listens to you. Surgical skills are top notch. From reception to nurses, surgical scheduling,, anesthesia and recovery, all professional and compassionate. As a medical provider, I have referred many patients to Dr. Brezenoff for shoulder repairs, now it was my turn.

Dr. Brezenoff moves fast, but in spite of that I felt like he really *heard* what I was saying each visit, and he also did a great job of explaining things in ways that made sense to me. His treatment recommendations and actions were also really helpful for dealing with my frozen shoulder while it heals.

Dr. Brezenoff is a very professional No Nonsense type of Person. He expects the patient to be upfront, honest and at all times do as the Dr tells you to do. Positive outcome from my experience and visit with him. The staff and nurses are also amazing.

I’m not sure bout some of these one star reviews and i wonder if we had even seen the same doctor. I just had my third rotator cuff repair. I’m a sucker for punishment what can i say. The 2nd was my left rotator performed by Dr. Brezenoff three years ago. I must note the very first repair performed on my right shoulder was over 15 yrs ago by a different surgeon. I am a career Firefighter and Fitness Enthusiast. It’s very important to me everything works properly at ??, especially my shoulders. Dr. Brezenoff did just that. My left rotator, the first he repaired over three years ago, is like new. Absolutely no issues and i had some pretty big tears. He recently repaired my right rotator cuff and I am currently in recovery. Regarding bedside manner, he is absolutely pleasant and professional. Dr. Brezenoff answered all my questions. We also share a commonality having children of the same age in college which came up during a post MRI appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Brezenoff to… anyone seeking a great Orthopedic Surgeon.
