Dr. Leonard Joseph Brazil, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Leonard Brazil with carpal tunnel syndrome. It is more severe in my left hand than in my right hand. I was impressed with Dr. Brazil when I first met him. He came into the room and said that my right hand was worse than my left hand. I said, "No, my left hand is worse." He just calmly looked at my records and said, "You're right. Your left hand is worse." It's not every doctor that will admit that they are wrong. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, his office and operating room staff are the greatest as well. They treat you like a king, putting a warm blanket on you to keep you warm in the cold operating room, give you juice after surgery, and make sure you are comfortable during the whole thing. I chose to be awake during the surgery and Dr. Brazil and the anesthesiologist explained everything that they were going to do and what to expect. If you have any hand issues, I highly recommend Dr. Brazil and his team of experts.

I wish he would spend a little more time explaining conditions and treatment options as well as expected results. I felt rushed to make a decision.

Dr. Brazil knew exactly where my elbow pain was coming from and why. He explained everything to me, provided counseling on the do's and don't's, stretching exercises etc. His level of professionalism and bed side manners as well as the amount of time he took to speak to my condition were a breath of fresh air. The office staff and radiology departments were quick and efficient as well. Great job. Mike A

My initial consultation went exceptionally well. He is very knowledgeable, and spent a good amount of time with me. I had a successful surgery on my finger, and highly recommend Dr. Brazil.

I was very impressed with Dr. Brazil's knowledge, listening abilities, and thoroughness before making a diagnosis. I had such confidence in him, that I scheduled hand surgery. I had the surgery and I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Brazil. My surgery was successful. His bedside manner was comforting. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I have gone to him twice. The first time was for my wrists. The doctor was very rushed and hardly gave me any consultation. My insurance didnt cover everything not their fault I know, but I had told them ill wait to schedule another appointment so I can get my insurance sorted out. Well 3 weeks later I get a bill in the mail saying I missed an appointment I never made! Now the second time (still pending) is for my foot. Workers comp sent the request for appointment on the 29th of December. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks I called to ask why they have not made an appointment. After several days of calling I finally found out my previous bill that went to collections needed to be paid before they will do anything. Paid that, and now a week and a half later I still have yet to get an appointment. All they could tell me is "The paperwork is on the doctors desk he will get to it as soon as he can". HORRIBLE
