Dr. Leslie Rosanne Capin, MD

Set appointments with Dr Capin Often switched to be seen by her nurse. Found to have cancer on my face. After finding cancer growth two of my appointments were cancelled due to emergencies. (Notified 10 minutes before my appointment.). Unable to get in with an appointment to have cancer removed within two years, I switched to another dermatologist who immediately scheduled me to remove cancer growth that was untreated by Dr Capin. Read some skin cancer can spread to internal organs as quickly as 6 weeks and would then require more intensive treatments. Dr Capin, herself, seems to be an excellent physician, but the lack of concern, lack of urgency, and concern to me as a patient was a red flag, to me. I should also express, my wife also had appointments canceled and was scheduled to be seen by a nurse. My wife then went to my new dermatologist and was very impressed

She INSISTED that I have a small, few mm sized mole removed. Not an odd color , shape , or size. She butchered my back and took out about 2 inches of skin and pulled it back together, so tight it hurts to bend. Her attitude is obnoxious and self serving. Oh, by the way , NOT EVEN pre-cancerous, nothing unusual in labs at ALL!!!

Referred patients to her for years >20 yrs. Waited 2 mnths to see her & was on time. Told to leave & reschedule because I didn’t bring Photo ID (I’m wheelchair/bed bound). Wasn’t asked to fax ID after appt. Called for 8 days, left msgs for her & 2 office mgrs. No one will answer phone or call back. Still can’t reschedule. Parking awful. Going elsewhere. Can’t believe this is Dr Capin now.

I knew I would love Dr Capin when I read that she won a million dollars in a dog photo contest and donated it all to The Dumb Friends League. She has been my mother's doctor for over 25 years and mine for ten. She is smart, experienced and always cheerful, energetic, and ready to listen. When I've had to deal with biopsies and such, she's been comforting and kind. I feel lucky to have found her.

Even though I had a scheduled appointment, the Dr.'s attitude and the atmosphere in the office was, "we are too busy to see you." The only reason for my appointment was to get my prescription renewed, so it wasn't as if I had any serious issues to attend to. When I went to check out, I had to ask twice for the samples of creams the Dr. wanted me to try. I was meet with leering eyes and sighs. In the end my, a prescription was to be mailed to me if my blood work came back OK. It did but no prescription was mailed to me. I had to call them back and ask again. ONE AND DONE!!

Dr. Capin and Dr. deVito are the BEST! They are thorough and take time to explain and assist...Very friendly and kind.

She's great.

Have been going to Dr Capin for many years, I recommend her office to friends and my doctor does too. I live out of town, and the drive is not even a consideration

My husband & I have been seeing Doctor Capin for the last 10 years. Doctor Capin has a great bedside manner and listens to her patients concerns and questions. Her staff reflects her high standards of care for the patients. If you are on time with your appointment your wait time is short, as Doctor Capin is very prompt and considerate of your time.

Outstanding doctor. Dr. Capin is extremely skilled, knowledgeable and thorough. Both the doctor and her staff are always friendly, efficient, and courteous.
