Dr. Liza Mae Capiendo, MD

Dealing with this office AND Capiendo MD has been nothing short of a nightmare! I’ve been having ‘issues’ as a result of a radical surgery procedure (14 hours) that I had as a result of cancer. Capiendo MD decided to do another procedure to rectify my issues. It took a month to get that date confirmed. Only until the day before my scheduled procedure did someone tell me that the facility would not be covered! Sadly, after waiting a couple more months, the procedure didn’t help in the least after which the doctor put her hands up in the air and basically said there was nothing else she could do. One of my Oncologists, at Cedars-Sinai, suggested that I visit a different Physician, also there. This Doctor immediately scheduled tests to diagnose the problem. Capiendo MD NEVER considered these tests which immediately identified the complication. I struggled, in excruciating pain, for months while seeing Capiendo MD! I, wholeheartedly, would NOT recommend this practice!

Dr. Capiendo made me feel so comfortable thru out the entire process. She really does take the time to listen to you and answer all your questions. She was very honest and so kind. I'm very grateful to have found her. Thank you so much Dr. Capiendo, I'm no longer afraid of going to the doctor. :)

The first thing I noticed about Dr Capiendo is how skilled she is at putting you at ease about topics that you normally don't want to discuss in public. She also made clear the different options that you has a patient has. She turned out to be a skilled surgeon and always gave me enough time to answer all of my questions. I wish my primary care physician was this good.

Dr. Capiendo has a knack for making people feel comfortable when dealing with embarrassing and uncomfortable health concerns. She was quick to diagnose my problem and helped put me in remission. If you are looking for a good colon Dr. look no further.
