My office visit with the doctor was informative and he was pleasant and thorough. However, in the visit, he explained that this problem was complex and he would need to bring my films before a medical board. He said he would call me with the results by the end of the work week. Unfortunately, this did not occur. I received a follow up phone call over two weeks later. This call was prompted after I left several messages with his receptionist. Going to a doctor for a severe medical problem is disturbing; therefore, I find it unacceptable for it to be compounded by not being informed on the diagnostic in a timely fashion. Because of this, I am unable to trust that he will follow through with all of the details required for my medical care.

Dr. Mrugala was personable and thorough in his examination of my symptoms, which included additional bloodwork, EKG and EEG. He called me in the evening to provide me with the results the day they were available, which was awesome due to the anxiety surrounding the unknown.
