Dr. Marcin Marek Zygawski, MD

Genuine personality and dedicated doctor. Had an emergency and he saw me during a holiday weekend on a day by day basis. Did not expect that as I usually see someone else. We need more caring individuals like these.

Has been my ophthalmologist for over 3 years and just did my cataract surgery. I feel lucky to be under his care.

Found him when I was looking for an ophthalmologist. Great personality and very talented surgeon. Trained around NYC and left with me with a nice impression.

Saw him multiple times, very responsive and caring. I have referred family and friends to him already. They seem very happy as well.

I am a retired nurse and I decided to comment as I feel that Dr Zygawski is very talented and someone that went into medicine for the right reasons. I am very pleased with his work and bedside manners and have referred my friends to him. Thank you for the great care and making me feel comfortable.

I spent some time in doctor offices in my life and being retired this is now more important to me than ever. I have seen Dr. Zygawski on few occasions over the past year for a systemic problem that also involves my eyes. I gave him some grief I am sure but he was very nice, introduced himself and took the time to call my oncologist. I was not myself at the time. He even wrote a letter to my oncologist that helped them pinpoint my issues. The oncologist said that Dr. Zygawski is a keeper so let it be!

I had issues with another doctor and decided to switch to this office. The doctor was recommended by a friend. He clarified things to me and allowed time to discuss my case. He even followed up with a phone call in person on two tests. Thank you.

Helpful, approachable and great bedside manners.

Sudden onset of floaters and flashers. Just had annual eye exam in July, no problems. Person who took phone call very helpful - told me to go into dark place, move eyes side to side and report if I had flashes of light. I did. Appointment the same day with Dr. Z. who is not my usual doctor. I am not a fan of this practice due to it's factory type impersonal nature. Upon arrival was tortured by receptionist insisting that my insurance card was out of date and that copay was greater than what was shown on card. Really BAD- kept standing at front desk for 15 minutes. Really? After that rude reception, I was seen by tech Melissa who could not have been nicer; sensitive to my concern and reassuring. Dr. Z seemed pressed for time - makes sense since I was an emergency add on. But he did take the time to thoroughly examine my eye and although my condition is upsetting to me, it was not a detached or torn retina. He is the only FACs surgeon in this practice. I am grateful he is… there.
