Dr. Mark Shane Talbert, MD

Yesterday Dr. Talbert did a surgical hernia repair on me at Intracoastal Surgery on Eau Gallie. After passing the presurgical tests, I went to the surgery center early in the morning. The receptionist was helpful and the nurse who worked on me was experienced, competent, and friendly. Dr. Talbert and the anesthesiologist both explained what would happen and answered my questions. Dr. Talbert had ordered a nerve block to reduce pain after surgery. I was wheeled into surgery and that is the last I remember until I woke up. My wife was there and the nurse made sure I was fine before I was released. It is now the day after surgery and I am doing great. Since I had the nerve block I am in much less pain than I had expected, which allowed me yesterday to do a lot of walking to recover quicker. It is a pleasure to be dealing with such professional, caring, and competent people. By the way, the office staff is great too.

Dr. Talbert is a skilled and caring Surgeon. I had an emergency procedure by Dr. Talbert a month ago and I was back to work in a week afterwards due to the laparoscopy procedure he was able to perform on me. I highly recommend this skilled surgeon.

I am an RN with over 30 years experience. I was referred to Dr. Talbert by my OR colleagues. From the moment I called for an appointment I was treated with kindness and respect. Dr. Talbet explained everything in depth, even drawing diagrams of the surgery. I was given accurate information, based on evidence. Surgery was scheduled within 2 weeks, despite the Covid-19 issues, as my surgery was necessary. My surgery was uneventful. I was in almost no pain at all. One night in the hospital. Almost no pain. I am back to work just three weeks after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Talbert!

I had surgery by doctor Talbert. Went home the next day. Started to have pain two days later. The third day I had to go to the ER. He put a hole through my bladder I was in coma 11 days and spent 31 days in the hospital. It took 4 surgeries to fix his mess. 4 more more surgeries after I went home. Medical Bill's over $1,250,000. Don't trust him.

Only accepts "uncomplicated cases".

Dr. Mark Talbert performed surgery on me two weeks ago. After leaving the hospital (outpatient surgery) I was pain free and never took any pain medication. Not even anything over the counter. He has an excellent "bedside manner" and his follow up appointment was on time and provided excellent results from the surgery. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon. Only thing I would tell people that his telephone answering system is confusing so just press I and you will talk with someone that can help you. Great overall experience.

Dr. Talbert repaired a major hernia in my right side. It was a very difficult surgery and he did an excellent job. Highly recommend him.

I'am so glad me and wife got to go to Mark Talbert for the diagnose of my problem. Then he got me well enough to have surgery with a drain in my gall bladder for 6 weeks to get all the infection out. When they got the drain in within 24 hrs. I felt like a different person. I'am so thankful that Mark Talbert M.D. knows our God above and realizes that he does the surgery and Jesus Christ does the healing !! So I'am praising Jesus for Marks expert knowledge on surgeries that got me back on my feet !! All so want to give him a special thanks for serving our military !!! A superb surgeon and staff. Up and around each day at an increasingly mobile pace and haven't used any painkillers since coming home. Came close the first day, but I a stubborn. Laparoscopic bi-lateral inguinal hernia surgery. On my way healing and the anticipation was worse than the actual procedure. Stay off of You Tube on this topic. Thanks for a job well done!
